This has always been most disturbing to me. I don't think that the people involved realized how disastrous their actions could be. From the top to the girl in the pictures, this is, has, and will cause great repercussions. I'm sure that Osama Bin Laden is using these pics to recruit new talent for his crusade against western civilization. And what about those who did it? What type of person does it take to do these sort of things? I know I couldn't justify that behavior in my own eyes. Whether from another country, or from our own, I have been taught that all human beings have certain rights. I have always believed that people have the right to not be tortured, for any reason. We should be above that, not just as Americans, but as civilized human beings! All people should consider themselves above torture of another human being, its just not right.

QUOTE
AP - Female interrogators tried to break Muslim detainees at the US prison camp in Guantanamo Bay by sexual touching, wearing a miniskirt and thong underwear and in one case smearing a Saudi man's face with fake menstrual blood, according to an insider's written account.

A draft manuscript obtained by The Associated Press is classified as secret pending a Pentagon review for a planned book that details ways the US military used women as part of tougher physical and psychological interrogation tactics to get terror suspects to talk.

Those of you who have been around this forum for a while probably realize I have no problem with torture in principal. I think it has its uses and I think it is appropriate in certain circumstances. Those circumstances definately include interrogation of terror suspects. However, this is not appropriate, in my opinion, in any case. I see absolutely no justification for this at all. Cause some physical discomfort, deprive them of sleep, I am o.k., touch them sexually, I am not o.k.
