Bin Laden claimed responsibility for the 9/11 attacks, now he has to deal with the consequences. No one believes he is the root of terrorism, the biggest reason for the US involvement in the middle east is the fact that in 1991 during desert storm it was discovered that Iraq had chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction. For many years he wouldn't allow UN inspectors to investigate. Now he lets everyone inspect everywhere and we are supposed to believe he hasn't had them moved. If they were never there in the first place then why not let inspectors inspect then.

User Tastanagee, please read the first post in this thread to understand what the topic is about. There is also a separate thread to discuss the Iraq War.
I read some of this information. He also acknowledged the fact that most Americans wants to end the war in Iraq and he blamed Bush for wanting to make money out of it and the main reason for not stopping the war over there. He hasn't spoken since 2004, so I suppose this is a sign that he still alive and somewhat healthy. I am so afraid just thinking about what he said about Al Qaeda preparing new attacks for the US, he said the reason they haven't done it as yet is because they are under preparation and NOT because of the US new security system on place.

Osama bin Laden warned in an audiotape aired Thursday that his fighters are preparing new attacks in the United States but offered the American people a "long-term truce" without specifying the conditions. |
