To Muslim ears, bin Laden's words carry different meaning
Osama bin Laden is almost certainly hiding in a cave somewhere in wild, western Pakistan. He has a $50-million bounty on his head - not exactly something that encourages him to trust those around him. He can't touch a cell or satellite phone for fear it will give away his location. He is isolated.

Bush: Bin Laden Should Be Taken Seriously
President Bush, defending the government's secret surveillance program, said Wednesday that Americans should take Osama bin Laden seriously when he says he's going to attack again. "When he says he's going to hurt the American people again, or try to, he means it," Bush told reporters after visiting the top-secret National Security Agency where the surveillance program is based. "I take it seriously, and the people of NSA take it seriously."

BIN LADEN WELL-HIDDEN BUT STILL ACTIVELY HUNTED
Tracking down Osama bin Laden has proven tougher than getting to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi because the top al-Qaida leader does almost nothing to call attention to himself and is protected by a ring of far more faithful followers, intelligence experts said Thursday.

I expect to see a lot of people airing their conspiracy theories that this is just a video that the CIA doctored up to hide its nefarious actions on 9/11. So far, I haven't seen any of those theories, but I am positive that we will be seeing them. Probably today.
