Nice to see some new blood. Did you have a look at « First of 57 pgs. its what tells you the level and class you can become. I believe you can be any race just make sure you're at level 1 and make the rolls he says.

Thanks! That's very helpful--I'm curious, though, which sourcebooks we're allowed to use to pick races and classes. Like, could I play a mind flayer jester or a centaur binder?
