Krusten the +3 arrows are 300 each he has 12 of them. A war horse will cost 450 gold and 50 gold for the leather barding. You will have to buy a saddle, bit and bridle and saddle blanket too that will cost a total of 30 more gold. A potion of cure light wounds is 50 gold, cure moderate wounds are 300 each, cure serious wounds is 750 gold each. No one has a cloak of invisibility but rings of invisibility are 20,000 gold each. There are other ways to protect yourself or make you armor better without spending as much. Bracers of armor +1, or amulets of natural armor +1 can raise your AC by 1 each for 2,000 each.

The wagon driver will store your war wagon in a barn that he can rent for you. The cost will be 3 cp a day for the care of the draft horses. The driver does not wish to go back with you as he has seen too much carnage from the last time and he values his life too much.
The ranger tells you that he has preformed his job by showing you the way. What further need do you wish from him? IF you wish to have him accompany you again he will want 25% of the treasure instead of 10%.

Page 66 Game Post Play Dragons and Dungeons

The group meets up in the local tavern. You are in the hammered anvil a moderate priced tavern that is the center of the town. It looks to have a lot of local craftsmen inside drinking. So far there is only the three of you there.

You are able to buy potion of healing but there are no potion of flight or levitation. How ever they can sale you wings of flying for 12,000 gold and boots of levitation for 6,000 gold.

There are no trained owls in the city.

Albrecht the local priest will deal with you. You can get a few scrolls with five cure light wounds for 200 gold each. You can get a scroll with four cure moderate wounds for 900 gold each. How many would you like to purchase?

Game Post Play Dragons and Dungeons

The alchemists will see about getting a few potions of levitation ready but they need to get more supplies.

In the tavern you hear rumors that the bandits up north have been quiet for the past couple weeks. The last two caravans have made it through without delay. They also talk about some hill giants that seem to be venturing farther south in the mountains north of here. To the east in the grasslands there is rumor of a band of hobgoblin and bug bears that are keeping the roadways blocked from the next town east. That town is a week journey by horse. Heading south by the main road it is much more safe due to the Earls own guards for the first three days after that it is the same as west monster, bandits, and other things seem to waylay caravans here and there. Nothing frequent but it does happen. You also hear of people spotting a red dragon in the north now and then. It has not come close to town yet but some people are nervous.

The group leaves town and heads north again. The way is clear but the skies are a bit over cast. The air has a little bit of chill to it as the wind comes from the north. Everyone needs to make spot and search checks.

Out of Character: Make sure all the information is updated on your character sheets. This includes the horses you have bought. Make sure hit points are full. AC is correct.

As the group moves north on horses you do not see anything or hear anything strange the first two days. You are now just a little south of the path that leads to the strong hold. In the morning you will pass by it and continue North into unexplored lands. The forest is still on both sides of the road.

The night passes quietly and you continue your journey north. About mid morning you come to the road that leads to the east and the stronghold. Passing it by you keep heading into unchartered territory for you. It is shorty after noon that the road leaves the forest and you enter the grass lands and you can see the mountains rising up ahead of you. The hills as you travel will start getting steeper as you continue on. You are about two days from the foot of the mountains. The grass lands have a few trees close to the forest here and there but by evening you do not see any trees close to you at all. Krusten sees that her bird is still flying in large lazy circles not spotting any game or potential dangers.
