You are able to resupply here at the Stronghold. The prices are double the book rate for supplies and there are no spare mounts. Lionel tells you he is still trying to get to the bottom of who is involved in what but he is pretty sure that the duke is not involved at all right now.

Make sure to note your character sheets of the supplies you bought and the gold you spent.

You head north into the woods following a path that leads north and west. It is wide enough for a wagon to pass but it is getting over grown from lack of use. After about mid day you come across a old burn out farmstead. There are weeds all over the fields and the house is a burnt down shell. It looks as if nothing has been in the area for at least three to six months. You can see a trail heading west from the farmstead. The path your following does continue north and west.

Everyone needs to roll D12 and a D6. I also need to know the current party order.

While walking about searching the burnt out farm Krusten and then Aive notice there appears to be a hidden chamber underneath the hearth of the old farm house. Do you wish to open this?

Aive and Namdar you both can see the mechanism that will release the hidden latch. There are no traps and it is not locked. It is a simple slide this board this way a bit and the latch pops allowing the lid to be lifted. Inside you see a large chest. The chest is made of iron and it alone can bring a nice price. There is a lock upon the chest. There is also a long sword that is fitted nicely behind the chest.

The chest looks to have not been opened for a long time maybe a few years. No one has disturbed it since the fire took place. Who evers chest and sword this may have been they must be dead for they did not come back for it. The chest is not trapped and the lock is opened with just a bit of difficulty probably due to the age and none use.

Opening the chest you will find 1,000 gold, 500 platinum and ten gems. The gems seem to be worth about 50 gp each.

You load the Chest filled with valuables onto Oliron's cart. As Krusten comes close to the long sword she can feel that it is magical in nature. She can not tell exactly what magics are imbedded in the sword . You all fan out to look for signs of the orcs. Your able to find tracks that look like they headed west. It has been a long time since the orcs have been around this farm stead.

You head west through the forest looking for the best path through the forest. You are following a narrow path that seems to have hardly been used. You have to spend extra time looking for a safe route the cart can fit through.

Krusten notes several different magics placed into the long sword. There are transmutation and universal spells in it. Both are quite strong. It seems to be a offensive weapon.

Pundit can discern nothing from the sword. Thus he tells you it is not a cursed or blessed weapon.

As the party heads west they start to smell smoke. the wind is from the west and the smoke is up ahead. How far you can not tell and you can not see more than about 120 ft in front of you due to the thick forest. You do not hear any noise a fire makes. The smoke feels warm but barely.
