Avan works to get back to the group when he is hit twice with Arrows. He takes 16 points of damage and is almost knocked from the sky. He does manage to get out of the figures line of sight before they could shoot him again.

Finding a cave to fall back to is not hard as there are plenty of caves scattered about. You can soon find one that suits your needs as you plan how you are going to assault the Gnoll tribe.

Rivoril will find himself outside a small tavern. Inside he listens to people talking. They are all talking about a group that recently headed south into the desert a couple days south to put a stop to gnoll raids that have been increasing over the past few months.

Main group. As you camp for the night you can hear noises around you and during the middle of the night you hear what sounds like a large winged bird flying around. The night passes with nothing bothering your cave.

Main group - As The morning arrives and you begin to start the day Avan goes out to change into a eagle when he spots a humanoid object walking towards your cave. It is about 7 feet tall maybe a bit taller and its shape is a bit off. Farther behind it you can see another one.

Rivoril Even handing the bar keep another gold that he pockets he can not tell you any thing new about those that went down to end the gnoll raids. He does know that they had a wagon with them and they bought little to no supplies when they stopped in. They do know they hired a scout to help them in the desert.

Main group - The first figure is getting close to the cave. Next round it will be within striking distance of attacking bastion. Albrecht tries to hide but fails to do so. His bear is sitting next to him. Alvan attempts to fly back to the cave. Does Avan fly from behind the figure?

Rivoril - You are told that the scout went with the party and has yet to return.

Main group- Bastion slams into the creature with a short charge it takes the damage and swings back at bastion but misses him. Flufles attacks but can not get a hit on the creature. The bear Krama gets one paw and a bite in but does not seem to phase the creature. It stands there swinging back at you.

Rivoril - There is no work here as all positions are filled by the ones who work here. This is a small settlement and not a lot of free time If you want work they can have you help in the fields weeding. No farmer will turn away extra help but it will be unpaid.
