With the wagon stopping again and not much of his book left to read, Avan marks the page he's on, grabs his longbow and exits the wagon. He also heads over to see what the others are looking at, while Mr Fluffles sniffs the ground.
Krusten pets her bird, cuts the hare to give her bird a piece as a reward and puts away the catch for later. After giving her a rest she sends her back to circle. Krusten keeps her eyes on looking around.
Albrecht tops the hill to see the ranger inspecting something and Zork riding up quick to find out what. Albrecht spurs Champ to hurry up as well, making it shortly after Zork to the ranger. Dismounting, he lets Champ sniff around for any scents or tracks and goes to look with the ranger and the fighter to see what was so interesting.
Avan flinches when the ranger says that elves travel in packs. To him it sounded like he was comparing them to animals and is glad that Faerydae stayed in the wagon.
"I think we should follow the track, it's out only lead," he says. Seeing the ranger start northwards, he asks, "So the prints indicate he continued north?"
Turning to Albrecht, Avan asks, "Does Champ smell anything? I can confer with him if you wish."
Out of Character: KNtoran didn't say anything specific about smelling or anything interesting about the tracks. Should I just say he seems interested and let Avan confer with him, or is this more KNtoran's domain?
Out of Character: Champ would have caught a scent but it is very faint plus the ranger figured one elf may not be important so he continues to head north as that was where you were headed. Calling him back he may see if he can track the elf down with the help from Champ and Mr Fluffles.

Having heard what sounded like a group of travelers with a wagon about a day back, Tilantre had picked up his pace not wanting to inadvertently run into them. Crossing a path, close to a road heading north, Tilantre heads deep enough into the woods to not be seen by someone on the road but close enough to here if someone is coming.
Finding a spot, Tilantre makes a dry camp to rest for the night sure that whoever is on the road will not pass till tomorrow some time. Daybreak found Tilantre pondering his next move. He thought of taking off and leaving whoever was out there alone since he did not know them and (More than likely) they didn’t know he was here. It has been a while since he has heard any news about what’s going on in the world, plus he has seen signs of Orcs around. TIlantre decided he would hide near the road to see if the lot looked approachable then he would make himself known and warn them of the Orc signs he had seen.
Tilantre resolved to go to the road, as he was starting to get up he heard the wagon, it was close. Drawing his bow and notching an arrow, Tilantre speaking quietly to him-self “I will wait”.
