Dark Druid says...

The ember in his hand burst back into a flame. I think Avan has to spend 1 round reaching for the potion, then drink it the next round. He hopes he doesn't boil the potion, but is unconcerned about burning off any facial hair as he reaches up to his lips.

After that he casts Cure Minor Wounds on Arkanoth, urging him to go behind the wagon and he follows to cover.

Avan Ohek Results:
  • Zork's potion on D4 (+1): 4, 2 (2 rolls)

Born Free says...

Out of Character: Thank you for that I've been selling myself short and we will need the damage for sure now so here are my new damage rolls.

If its 4d6+3 then the easiest way is D20+7 or I will have to make loads of rolls.

Krusten Results:
  • Damage on D20 (+7): 17, 15, 9, 21 (4 rolls)

The Third says...

Out of Character: An earlier suggestion about hide led me to search for the hide skills to read about it. The rest of skills are here: Source 8w if anyone wants to read them.

Zork wants to get to Krusten to get a potion without being seen. Do the boots of levitation enable movement or just up and down? If I levitate above the trees that should give me an advantage since its dark rather than trying to run to Krusten?

If that cannot work I will use hide by running from tree to tree until I reach her. There are so many different penalties that I'm just rolling unmodified.

Zork III Results:
  • Hide on D20 (+0): 20 (1 roll)
  • Spot on D20 (+1): 13 (1 roll)
  • Listen on D20 (+1): 16 (1 roll)

Out of Character: Boots of levitation are just for vertical travel only. You will be subject to the winds though and if not anchored will be blown in the same direction as the wind. While this can be good for travel you may go places you may not want to go.

The Third says...

Out of Character: I will just hide til I get there then and seeing that my Hide roll was aced even more so. Once there I will ask Krusten for a potion and stay hidden behind a tree until the orc is nearby to get a surprise attack.

Born Free says...

When Zork gets near and states his request Krusten immediately gives him one and takes one for herself as well. She says, "We need to take this beast down, he looks like he will need a good number of hits before that happens!"

Out of Character: I still have enough rolls up for combat right?

Krusten Results:
  • Cure light potion on D8 (+0): 2 (1 roll)
  • Spot on D20 (+0): 4 (1 roll)
  • Listen on D20 (+0): 3 (1 roll)

Healer says...

Noticing that the potion did not heal very much, Faerydae touches Krusten (+1HP) saying, "That will help you, but you may need a new potion soon. I need to get to the war wagon, my spells are finished." And she does that as fast as she can.

Dark Druid says...

Avan uses the wagon's murder holes as he throws small flames at the half-orc.

Mr Fluffles sees the target his master is marking and instinctively (Stupidly) charges in.

Out of Character: Thank goodness they're touch attacks and I have 8 rounds left!

Avan Ohek Results:
  • Touch Attack on D20 (+4): 14, 14, 13, 14 (4 rolls)
  • Damage on D6 (+2): 6, 7, 6, 8 (4 rolls)
  • Cat Claw on D20 (+5): 6, 18, 20, 21 (4 rolls)
  • Cat Claw on D20 (+5): 18, 21, 22, 9 (4 rolls)
  • Cat Bite on D20 (+0): 16, 19, 16, 12 (4 rolls)
