Albrecht wakes with the morning light and leaves Champ guarding the goblin as he communes with nature for a bit to solidify his hold on the spells he has prepared. He didn't go far, just the other side of the tree, and as he came back around he untied the goblin from the tree, leaving its hands bound. He used his quarterstaff to push the creature in front of himself, and went to wait by the east gate for the two strange humans he had met the night before to return. He didn't approach the gate or stand in the road enough to cause any alarm, though many who passed by him, gave him a curious look as to why he would have a goblin with him.
Aliana stretches as she leaves the inn. She needed that. Walking quickly she heads to the eastern gate to meet the halfling and Lukas. Noticing Albrecht and Champ there but not Lukas she walks over and joins them. " Hello Albrecht. Thanks for watching our friend last night. Lukas should be here momentarily. Feel free to gather your friends. I will watch him now. ". She draws a short sword and eyes the goblin.
Albrecht greets Aliana, she looks capable enough to watch the goblin on her own, unlike the other human. Albrecht makes the exchange and heads back through the gate. He finds the tavern that seemed to be a favorite of the group, hoping to catch them just finishing breakfast. Of whoever hasn't yet set out for the day, he will ask if they speak goblin. As this gets him some questioning looks, he quickly explains his trials the night before and the goblin that isn't allowed in the city. Hopefully one of the group can help those two. He wasn't sure why, but this felt important to their future mission.
Lukas found his meditations particularly difficult this morning. His thoughts were jumbled and excitable, drawing out the time he needed to find the calm center he would maintain for the day. After a simple repast, he heads out for the eastern gate. Soon enough, he sees Aliana standing out there with their captive. "So, it would seem that the gamble to trust the halbling has paid off thus far. I presume he has gone to speak with the others he spoke of last night?"
Out of Character: For those who missed it in the other thread, I'm shifting his social foibles a bit, he'll be more abrasive than inept. Rarely deliberately insulting, more a matter of almost always speaking his true feelings, which can be condescending at times. Should be easier to maintain in a Play By Post format than typing out odd vocal patterns.
When Albrecht enters with his story Krusten smiles. She sips some ale and straightens up, "Sure I speak goblin… " she raises her bow and acts out her shooting a goblin. "... And when they fall to the ground I know the conversation is over."
She then starts drinking some more showing her enthusiasm to communicate with what she considered a lower life form.
Looking casually towards the gate not knowing whether Lukas or Albrecht will appear first she notices the frail mentalist. Watching him walk up she wonders how he has made it this far by himself. He has some true power but is very frail and doesn't know how to interact with others well. Smiling as he walks up she responds to his question. " that is correct. He has been gone a short time to retrieve a possible translator. Hopefully they can help. If not we will take him a short distance away and I will question. It will either speak and answer our questions or it will die. " Aliana laughs.

Faerydae joins Krusten after prayers. Hearing what Krusten says causes her to object, "Surely, you do not mean that Krusten, they are very bad but there must be good among them too… right?" Her beliefs may have taken away reality, but she is happy. She comments to the druid, "Hello Albrecht, where have you been?"
