Aliana wakes up suddenly. There was a loud growling sound nearby. Looking around she notices that Albrecht and Champ are on watch and don't seem too concerned. Albrecht seemed competent so she laid her head back down to get some more sleep.
Albrecht hears the sounds of restless nature around him. He tries to get as much sleep as he can, knowing that nature should protect him.
Zork gets up groggy. "What were those sounds?" he checks around nearby to see if he can find evidence of what it was. When all is back to normal he sets out again.
Krusten is moody when she does not sleep well, she almost feels like shooting at the trees just to take out some anger but restrains her emotions.
After gathering her things and removing any traps set she mounts her horse and is ready to go.
Faerydae arises with prayer. She makes supplication for a safe journey. She checks on the prisoner, offering water through his gag.
Albrecht awakes in the morning feeling rested, but realizing he had a disturbed night with all the sounds around him. Nature running its course was little cause for concern in him, but he always had to keep a wary ear out for danger. As he broke camp and checked the bindings on the goblin, he noticed many of the others looking more haggard than he felt. He tried to offer cheery words and warm greetings where he could to bolster spirits, but he was not accustomed to such social interactions and botched many of them leaving the others all the more aware of how tired they looked.
Albrecht finished making ready his pack, and then mounted Champ, ready to travel for the day. He stayed toward the back of the group helping keep an eye out for danger approaching from the rear, as Champ sniffed around checking the winds for signs of trouble.
Aliana groaned as she woke up. Last night certainly wasn't the best night of sleep she had ever experienced. The noises had woken her up a few times more. Getting up she helped in breaking the camp down. She looked around at the group and saw she wasn't the only one that had a rough night. Speaking to everyone quietly she packs her gear and then slings herself astride the mule. Stretching her shoulders as they begin to ride she yawns. She rides towards the back of the group today again as they head out.
On last watch Avan stays still and his eyes dart around looking for the source of the noise. He knows he has to give his reverence to nature, so he waits for the first person to wake up before he starts his hour of prayer.
"That's a good idea Zork," Avan says as he joins the search. "Maybe the nocturnal creatures left tracks or clues. We should follow and find the lair, we can better avoid them next time."
