Zork takes up the stem of a piece of grass and puts it on the tip of his lips. While fiddling with it he looks at Avan with a raised brow waiting for some significant action. He sighs and does not even bother to do any special checks as he watches the water fall off the cliff. He turns to the party in general and for the sake of conversation says, "Who here has ever eaten a cat or a dog?"
Albrecht doesn't like Avan so boldly going into the water after seeing how ominous it looks, but Albrecht isn't quick enough to stop him. His voice trails off with a "Wait, don't act so.... Rashly" Albrecht readies his quarterstaff and his Shillelagh spell should the danger appear in reach. After Avan examines the water and returns to dry land, Albrecht will suggest using Detect magic on the water fall.
Out of Character: Albrecht has Detect Magic prepared. But he won't cast it until the party is reasonably together and out of danger (And/or is prompted by others).
Krusten says to Zork, "I hope you haven't, next you will be asking us who has eaten hawk!" Krusten goes up to the water with her bow in the firing position so if anything jumps out at her they will get the best of an electric arrow.
Out of Character: I assume Avan is going to announce that he can't see much. This post is then Albrecht's next move.
In Character: Albrecht relaxes a bit, and points out the tracks heading toward the waterfall and tells the others "It looks like our Minotaurs went that way, but from here it is not obvious what is near the waterfall. I would recommend caution in approaching that direction."
"Lead on then… " Zork spits out the grass and gets his horse moving right behind the druid.
Faerydae is silent in the background but not unaware about what is happening. She keeps her already large ears poised to hear more.
Aliana looks at Zork when he asks about eating a dog or cat. She had eaten dog before, growing up very poor as she had. Aliana decided not to mention it for now. " There has to be something somewhere in this wilderness. What's the odds of traveling everywhere like this and finding nothing?"
