OOC: It looks like I am to take over as party leader.
Eth:
Eth will keep shooting, attacking the grunts now
21 13,/ 22(nat) 17/ 11 14/ 8, 18/ 9 17/
Damage 6 5 4 6 9 7 4 9
Ryorst:
Ryorst looks the sub-leader in the eyes before bringing up his axe in a devestating swing.
d20: (+8)
26, 19, 21, 11
d12: (+12)
23, 14, 24, 16
Oliron:
He keeps attacking the orcs and helps Ryorst, if he runs out of the normal orc fodder.
Oliron realizes he has been cut on his arm long after it happened. Looking down at the puny wound Oliron begins to laugh then commands the orcs, "We are the slayers of giants from the north. Flee now with your lives. If luck is with you I won't catch you on your bellies hiding in the mud."
4d20 (two weapon fighting / attack rolls): 25(natural), 20, 17, 23
Critical threat roll: 9 - miss
4d10 (damage rolls): 6, 6, 5, 9
2d20, Almost forgot cleave (attack): 11, 24
Cleave (damage): 4, 9
Yelling at the orcs, (I don't know if that gets a roll, maybe for bluff or intimidate?) anyways: 1d20 (no mods.) = 17
Nei:
orders for Nei are still about the same.
- stay with the group (just behind)
- avoid direct melee
- cast heals with wand
If it looks like we are about to get flanked or have a weak spot, he will cast his summoning spell.
If he does get stuck in melee, he'll shout for assistance while attacking with his mace. He'll withdraw from the immediate melee once/if someone comes to his aid.
Akog:
Akog continues doing whatever he was doing.
Village:
The party in the village decide that culling some rats in the merchants warehouse is a good idea and ask him for directions to the warehouse.
But thinking maybe others may want to join them leave a notice in the tavern with directions in case some of the new people they have heard about in the village are able to join them.
They wait with baited breath to find out the job and location of the warehouse that the merchant requires of them.
Now we turn around to wipe out this next group of orcs just like we did with the first one. While Oliron, Ryorst, and Akog take on the orcs using the same tactics they just did, Nei backs out of the combat and heals himself, then Eth, and then Oliron. Eth will fire at anyone closing in on Nei if he is appears safe she will then use her own wand on herself. Meanwhile she will try and move further away or out of direct sight from who ever is shooting her.
Here's a bunch of unmodified rolls for the party if you need them. We each have different modifiers, so I'll leave that part to you.
d20: 7, 12, 19, 19, 12, 5, 9, 6, 20, 11, 11, 19, 9, 10, 4, 4, 6, 6, 13, 1, 2, 7, 12, 16, 13
d12: 2, 12, 6, 12, 10
d10: 9, 10, 4, 5, 9, 8, 8, 4, 9, 8
d8: 6, 5, 6, 8, 7, 7, 7
d6: 6, 3, 3, 1, 6, 5, 5, 6, 5, 1
d4: 4, 3, 4, 2, 2
Edited: Rentok on 2nd Nov, 2010 - 4:30pm
Ryorst bellows in RAGE and strikes at the sub-leader with gusto, striking with fury and unbridled anger.
d20:(+13)
19, 33(Nat 20), 25, 28, 18, 26, 31, 16, 17
d12:(+12)
20, 24, 22, 19, 13, 15, 15, 18
((That's 6 Additional HP due to my enhanced CON, and my AC is 2 less. That's 8 rounds of rage, though I think the second-round crit should kill him, considering it is literally the highest damage I am capable of dealing without power attack. Makes me wish I'd decided to USE power attack, just to be able to claim that as a level 3 character I dealt 81 damage in a single blow. I'll just have to settle for the 72.))
Stepping in as leader:
Village:
We enter the warehouse I am thinking that there is no light in the warehouse so Hudd has a lit torch in left hand.
Uther Ar enters first Hudd follows and Elruadar enters last.
Hudd has cast the spell "Light" on a torch which he has in the right hand, as soon as he is in he throws it towards the door that is barred on the east side.
Using half-elf vision he attempts to look at the warehouse and gage what is there esp looking for rats, but also focused on the east door and why it maybe barred.
To be able to throw the torch Uther has to move to one side so both Uther and Hudd are open at the front with Elru behind them. Hudd after throwing the torch at the east door direction draws his sword to be ready.
Not sure what else is needed, please let me know if you req more ?
Nei:
Nei will pull one of his healing potions out and drink it. That should require the least amount of effort. He then closes his eyes and lays back, letting the strength flow back into his battered limbs. Running purely off of adrenalin and strength borrowed from the potion, he pops up, grabs his wand of cure light wounds, and immediately sees to the health of his fellows. He heals the most critical(Oliron) first, eventually bringing everyone back to full health. He curses himself the whole time for not being able to protect his fellows.
