Avan echoes Bastion, telling the man that it should be clear to go south to the town. He says that the caravan should've known the risks of travel and they brought it upon themselves, through pride, greed or other motivation. Despite that, the man has clearly lost goods of some description and if he can provide details, the party might help him retrieve them, with a finder's fee and risk pay of course. Avan tires to sense if the man lies about any of the goods.
In the morning, he prepares more curative spells than usual.
On the road again, Avan mentions that at the intersection, we take the easterly dirt path into the trees. He keeps an eye out.
Albrecht agrees with Bastion's assessment, he is just worried about losing one of his few spells for the day. Thinking on it, the next day shouldn't be anything too bad, he could probably afford to lose a spell. As they sit around the camp fire Albrecht responds to Ildrahil's comments and says "We are not quite up to multiple giants. Though as we come together to form a cohesive fighting force, we might could overcome them. Let us focus on the task at hand, then consider the giants after that. They will likely stay in the mountains for a while longer."
Albrecht then finishes his camp duties and takes whichever watch the others don't want. In the morning, Albrecht goes into the woods at the first hour of dawn and changes his spell list to include Cure Light Wounds so that he can get the man back on his feet.
Out of Character: I had accidentally posted this in the Party thread. I just copied the text and redid the rolls here.
Ildrahil senses that thy decision is made and he agrees with it. His part here is making sure the party is secure while everyone who has preparation to do does it. He volunteers for as many watches as he can safely do, without fear of falling asleep on watch. He also suggests that they don't just have a watch but they have a roving patrol that moves around their perimeter to make sure they aren't caught at unawares, although Krusten's pet may very well be able to fill that function. When off of watch duty, he can either be found resting or cleaning and honing his weapons.
Krusten doesn't say much, keeps to herself and spends most of her time being aware of the surroundings and the flight path of her birdie.
Bastion will urge particular caution and vigilance on the road to the fort. Anyone they encounter here is almost certainly with the garrison.
Out of Character: Avan gave the man food and water at the first encounter. No one specified giving him more, but I don't think anyone would strenuously object to giving a little more for the road, and at least a few would be inclined to do so.

Albrecht would give the man two days worth of rations and just plan to hunt any food he needs to make up for the loss. As they continue down the road to the fort, Albrecht takes back up his spot beside the caravan, keeping a wary eye out for any ambushes or hostiles.
Now feeling comfortable with his place in the company, Ildrahil naturally gravitates towards the rear of the group to watch the flanks and rear. He asks, "Shall we designate a point to gather just prior to our assault? This so we can break into our assault groups."
Bastion says, "We will halt and make camp outside of the fort's sight. We have a few days until the new moon. We'll use that time to observe and prepare, if we can catch any patrols outside the walls, so much the better."
