"I have these, ware those behind!" Bastion spurs his horse, charging at the archers ahead of the group. The rod in his hand is already lengthening into a lance, aimed at the bow wielding gnolls before him.
Out of Character: Two handing the rod's +3 lance form, damage is doubled while charging on a horse. Charge adds 2 to attack, and reduces my AC by 2 for a round. Using Battle Leader's Charge maneuver in conjunction (+10 damage on hit, added into roll as a pair of +5s). In round 2 and following, shifting Rod to battleaxe form and laying about him, still 2 handed, with Punishing Stance active (-2 AC, +1d6 dam). Using Crusader's Strike in rounds 2 and 4 to heal himself. Round 3 is just a maneuver refreshing standard attack.
Avan casts Gust of Wind towards the archers, hoping to impede their arrows and kick up some sand for a round. He exits the wagon and heads towards the rear attackers. He tells Fluffles to stick close to the party.
Next round he tells Fluffles to engage while casting Greater Magic Fang on him, enhancing all natural weapons with a +1. Fluffles charges with a pounce for a full attack.
Third round Avan casts Call Lightning, bringing his full power to bear down on this group. He aims to strike the archers up high first, then work his way down. Fluffles continues to full attack, enjoying the power of his enchanted teeth and claws.
Refreshed and encouraged, Bastion shifts tactics a bit, trying to strike through multiple targets.
Out of Character: that bit of healing got me back to max. Round 3 switching to Steely Wind maneuver, and dropping the crusader's strike of round 4 in favor of maneuver refresh.
Or to put it another way, dropping the R4 healing roll, adding an extra attack on a target adjacent to my first for R3, and keeping the already rolled R3 and R4 attacks as they are.
Round 3: Avan has his mind set on hitting one of the archers with lightning, hoping to scare them a little. As a move action he also draws an Alchemist's Fire.
If he sees a dense cluster in the crowd of gnolls and hyenas, hoping to hit at least 5 enemies at once and no allies, he throws the fire flask at whatever's in the centre.
If there's no such crowd, he continues to bring lightning down against the archers, who should no longer be obscured by the gust of wind.
Out of Character: In case the condition is met, rolling for Alchemist's fire to hit and 2 rounds of 1d6 damage. Splash damage is only on impact and only 1. Rolled for random target 1d8 in case I miss on the attack roll. I would like to keep whatever result I get in case the situation changes and occurs in later rounds.
Bastion keeps up the assault, slashing about him as swiftly as he can. He wants to end this fast
Out of Character: Steely wind on R1+R3. Standard attack refresh R2+R4. So rolling six attacks for the next four rounds. The 2 attacks on rounds 1 and 3 are directed at separate targets.
