In Character: "How does someone earn an honest living around here"? Rivoril asks the Barman.
"Perhaps there is a Locksmith here that could use my skills"? He adds with a smile.
Albrecht made ready to attack as well. He had Krama move to the other side of the canyon, and be ready to attack from there. This presented three targets for the enemy to choose from and increased the likelihood that someone could get behind and flank them.
Bastion shifts his rod to axe form, and starts hacking in earnest. He tries to discern what he can of the nature of these oddly stoic things the group faces.
On getting a closer look, Bastion calls out to the others, "Constructs formed of clay! I suggest we withdraw!"
Out of Character: if he gets hit, that round he'll use Crusader's strike to heal himself. If two come close enough to be adjacent, he'll use Steely wind to try and hit both.

Avan, from his high perch, takes aim and begins firing arrows down at the enemies. When he hears Bastion's order, he passes it on to Fluffles with his animal call.
Bastion brings up his guard as he wheels Arion about, and pulls back enough to maneuver around the plodding construct. He shifts the rod to its greatest length, and heels his horse to move just fast enough to stay ahead of the things coming after them, drawing them down a path that he thinks should be relatively safe, striking backwards with his weapon as circumstances allow.
Out of Character: Total Defense action during the withdraw (+4 AC) shifting rod to 15' lance. Technically I'm going to pace things such that their max movement puts them just in range of my reach attack, but not me, then on my go attacking and moving away. Its just easier to describe it as walking at the same pace as them, just a little bit ahead. Previously rolled attacks will work just fine for the rod's lance mode if 1 is subtracted from tohit and damage.

"Now, If you were to be so kind as to show me to my room," Rivoril says to the Barkeep.
"I think I might retire for the night," Rivoril adds.
