Price of meal with an ale is 3 copper. You hear some of the farmers talking about the fact that since the latest group of adventurers went south there has been no more raids by Gnolls. They hope that they are successful in ridding the area of gnolls so it will be many years before a new band moves in and needs to be cleared out again.

Out of Character: Just to let you know Anronrosby, since you are just talking to another player, you can have that conversation in the Party Thread (You are currently in the Leader Thread), as it has no bearing on actual actions. You can post here: Rivoril and the new ranger-looking woman talk. And then go have the conversation in the other thread, or you can post just like you did, but then carry the conversation on in the other thread after this, so as to keep this thread from becoming too bogged down with things that don't advance the action of the story. This is the way KN has it setup to work. I am not trying to be mean or condescending, just trying to help a new player understand what the culture of this game is.

The group discusses their options and decides to stick with the previous plan. They don't name the specifics of the plan, in case whoever is spying on them can over hear, but they know from the last time they discussed it that the plan is to wait until dark and then attack the camp. If they come along another scouting party between now and then they will engage, but until such a time, they are scouting the canyon around the Gnoll encampment to see best routes of escape and entry. They will attack from the top of the canyon walls, starting with the lookouts up there.

Out of Character: We all just confirmed this in the Party Thread, and I wanted to post it here so that it is clear to you, KN, what we want to do and what we are waiting on. If there is nothing else of interest to happen between now and dark, then you can advance it to night time and we will move up to the canyon top and start hunting for scouts.
