Albrecht was very distraught by how things went with yesterdays battle, though he felt better after sleeping. He awoke and communed with nature to change some of his spells. He planned not to be on the front line again, if he could help it, so that he could help heal and cast other spells where needed to keep the enemy engaged. Albrecht thought that Avan was taking some reckless risks to help slack his guilt and anguish, but Albrecht didn't say anything and let him go in peace, trying to watch.
Out of Character: I don't think Albrecht or Krama have too much to do besides get up and prepare spells. But I will throw some Spot and Listen checks just to be sure that nothing sneaks up on us.

Avan knows his bird form won't be effective here. Hoping to still be out of their reach while making his escape, Avan turns back to human and reaches into his haversack, drawing his sharp maaterwork scimitar. He begins slashing at the fabric, hoping to break free and make a run for it.
"It's a bird you wanted to capture, right?" Avan blathers, outmatched and unsure of what's about to happen. "Well, I'm not a bird! I'll just be on my way then… "
