Avan nods and begins taking his belt and scimitar sheath off. As it falls to the ground he hopes they are all a little more relaxed and he takes a small step back out of their immediate reach. As he mimes reaching for his haversack, he defiantly shouts, "No way!" before trying to Wild Shape in order to fly up out of their reach.
Out of Character: It's a standard action that doesn't provoke and doesn't need concentration, so it should be usable here as a surprise move. Just say if you need me to roll something else or if something is preventing me. If it's available, I'd like to turn into a Desmodu Hunting Bat from MM2. Rolling Dexterity for initiative, plus one spare. Also rolling spare reflex saves and tumble checks in case I have to move out of attack of opportunity range. (Such foresight, I can't believe I put a rank into it at level 1!).

Bastion seems more intense for a moment at the mysterious woman's words.
"Right now we are willing to depart with no further conflict and no ill will towards you. But if you harm Avan, that will change. I assure you, you have nothing to gain by such an action."
Avan's eyes bulge in shock at the intensity of the blow.
Out of Character: Can't argue with a critical. They'll be waiting a while; 5 hours before the effect ends. But they seem like a patient bunch.
Should I record any damage or non-lethal?
What if I come to before the effect ends?

Tazskan, continues to wait silently, peering through the arrow slits, listening for trouble, trying to spot Avan, or those creatures, holding him captive.
Out of Character: Will post a couple rounds of rolls just in case.
Avan chooses to stay in his oversized bat form for as long as possible, just to be obnoxious. He waits to see what will happen and if he will get threatened.
Avan sees one last opportunity to bargain instead of just complying. "Must I?" he questions. "Wouldn't it be simpler to tolerate each other? What if I could give you something you deeply desire, with no risk of retaliation from us?
"I think I know what you want. The most precious thing in the universe - more time."
"I offer you additional life," Avan says as he draws a cloth wrapping from his haversack. Unwrapping the cloth, using two fingers in a delicate and precarious grip, he picks up his Potion of Longevity he had been safekeeping. "With the life of such a resplendent and powerful figure such as yourself being worth far more than a measly prisoner like me, this trade is uneven.
"Your lackeys killed my cat. With the magic I suspect you can do, I want him back. And while we're bartering, I want to know your plans here too."
"So you aren't desperate for additional life," Avan admits. He wraps and puts away the prized vial. "Surprising. But how about… "he pretends to rummage in his sack as he grabs a scroll. Just what he needed. Avan reads the parchment and casts Freedom of Movement. (Caster level check of 8 or higher needed)
"Your greed will be your undoing," he says as he tries to back away.
