"Right, if we're taking them, stay out of sight, but move in to secure their horses as soon as most of them step off. If we can help it, we don't want any of them making it back to the others."
Bastion will move the wagon out of immediate sight, and find a quiet place to observe the bandits as they ride in.
"This is too early," Avan says as he leads his Jackal around the back of the inn, out of sight. "I'll try to get around them to flank and chase down any that run."
He begins by casting Barkskin on him and the Jackal using shared spells, lasting 50 minutes. He mounts the beast, bareback, and waits behind the inn, looking for any possible path around the back of the bandits, while staying out of sight. When he starts to hear the bandits dismount, he casts Bull's Strength (Shared spell) and Shillelagh, which last 5 minutes each.
Arilynia will get a room close to Rivoril's then join him for the height advantage for the bandits. Readying her bow as well as getting some arrows covered in oil and a lit candle nearby in case we wish to light 'em up. She will keep her eyes and ears open for anything that may be important.
Out of Character: Rolling Spot, Listen x6 to help keep the game moving. Will do Int and Att/ DMG when needed.
Bastion looks to Avan, "I agree, this is too early. But I am not inclined to sit here and watch this happen. Are you?"
"The others have a good firing position. Lets scatter the horses, and start chasing them down."
Bastion sets Arion's stirrups, and shifts his Rod to Lance form before charging out of the alley where he and Avan had waited. He means to skewer the nearer of the two guarding the horses before they have a chance to react.
If Avan and his Jackal do well in making sure none of the enemy's mounts stay put, Bastion will instead focus on riding down other bandits in the street for now, especially anyone who appears to be trying to organize the others.
Out of Character: Round 1 and 3: Battle Leader's charge for +10 damage, double damage due to charging with a lance on horseback.
Normal attacks on rounds 2 and 4 to recharge maneuvers.
In punishing stance for -2AC, +1d6 damage.
EDIT: R1,R3 damage should read 2d8+38 based on what I was originally thinking. In addition I only added the +3 enhancement bonus for tohit, forgot it for damage, so another +6 damage for round 1 and 3, and +3 for rounds 2 and 4. Damn, I love how those bonuses stack up. Seeing the bandits shoving the young girl between them, gets my blood boiling. Taking careful aim as to not hit the girl, I let loose of an arrow and watch it run true to it target.
Out of Character: rolled 4 each, attack and damage to help game move along..once again will do more as needed.
Rivoril, sees the Bandits enter town, taking advantage of the women folk. His anger rises, as he fires arrow's at the Bandit/s. Taking care not to hit any of the women. Also trying to be as silent, and deadly as possible, while loading and firing.
Out of Game: Have included 4 rounds here, so as to help move it along. Edited: anronrosby on 10th Apr, 2018 - 6:36am
Avan charges at the second bandit guarding the horses, quarterstaff charged with energy and jackal biting fiercely.
After they are dispatched, Avan attacks the second closest bandit, trying also to keep an eye on the horses, in case any bandits try to flee.
Out of Character: First round has charge included (+2 to hit, but -2 AC not shown). Following rounds do not assume charging, but please add +2 when it's possible to charge. The jackal also always attempts to trip his opponent.
