Avan simply waits, getting ready to push on the gate if the ogres charge and to try to hold it closed.
Out of Character: Initiative/Sense Motive if necessary to see who makes the first move.
Bastion quickly knocks an arrow, motioning others to do the same, his return message is simple and to the point, "If you can run, then run back to us, now. We'll cover you."
Bastion will fire his longbow at anyone attempting to pursue the pair.
Out of Character: I suggest getting distance first and foremost, so just a run action for Avan and Riv to get a headstart I should think. We're better off forcing them to expose themselves in pursuit than attacking their chokepoint, and certainly better off doing either than giving them two hostages.
Upon seeing Bastion, knock an arrow into his bow; Arilynia does the same from her position. Ready to shoot anything that comes after Avan and Rivoril.
Rivoril, whispers to Avan, they want us to make a run for it. Back towards our party that is.
"Lets both go now," he whispers.
Rivoril, will try and run back towards the other party members.
Nameia makes a silent prayer to Lemniscate and nocks her longbow, with the bow lowered she is ready to aim and shoot.
Avan also turns and sprints as hard as he can back to the party, but is likely slower than Rivoril thanks to his armor. He doesn't mind being the ogres' first target, so he doesn't shout out if he falls behind.
Avan stops sprinting and engages at range. He thinks we have the superior number and advantage in this case, as well as cover to retreat to. Just a pity the jackal will have nothing to do.
Out of Character: After each shot, Avan takes a move action (20 feet) to slowly make his way back to the entrance. Range increment penalties not included (Composite longbow: 110 foot range).
Travis, feels pain as a couple of arrows find their mark. He momentarily stops, and engages at range. He gets out his Composite short bow, and fires off an arrow at the closest Ogre.
Then, continues retreating towards the party, using a dash action, for rapid movement.
