With a cautious look around, she informed the group that the ogres had stopped and moved back.
"Why would they retreat?" She absently questions.
Bastion sighs, "The trolls did the same thing when we tried that maneuver on them. My guess? Either they are aware of how vulnerable that point is for them, which seems unlikely for such simple and aggressive creatures, or they have standing orders not to leave this place."
"All right then, the question now is what it will take before we're ready to stand toe to toe with that bunch. Do we need to fall back and try again tomorrow?"
To Nameia, the warforged says, "My thanks for the assistance down there, aid is a precious and rare thing in this business. I am known as Bastion. Might I know your name?"
Looking at Bastion peculiarly Nameia responds, "I am Nameia, a knight of the wild" with hesitation she continues, "Have you forgotten?"
"I could do with some healing, before we continue again,” Rivoril says.
"Or all falling back to the village, is also a good idea,” he continues.
Avan looks quizzically at Bastion, thinking A problem with his artificial mind?
"Maybe we should counter-attack," Avan suggests. "It's what they'll least expect. Catch them unarmed and unarmored. We may find a better chokepoint? Perhaps find and rescue our captives? Could we hide behind the false wall and let them all pass us by?"
Arilynia stands there and looks a bit confused at Bastion. She wonders if he may have gotten injured somehow that we don't know of, since he doesn't seem to remember meeting the new comer not that long ago.
Arilynia also listens to what Avan suggests. "We could at that, Avan. We might want to at least either heal those that need it or take a short rest. Where we do the latter is up in the air. It seems Rivoril is the only one saying they need healing. How are you doing in that regard, Avan? Do you need healing as well?"
"Just a scratch, nothing too bad" Avan replies to Arilynia. "If we're stopping to heal, then we probably won't make it in time for an assault. So we'll try to defend this opening with our villager allies shooting from above? All agreed? How can we set up a better trap?"
