After counting up the bodies at the entrance Avan subtracts them from the number of sleeping mats found, trying to get a good estimate of the goblins remaining.
He thanks Krusten but decides against going back to the girls. "I can't leave him alone in good conscience."
He gets his cat to track Zork by scent from where he was last seen, probably the kicked in door.
Out of Character: Handle Animal included if necessary. Would probably take 10 or 20 if not immediately a success.
Out of Character: : Sorry I went larping last weekend and have been busy with my kids and stuff to post!
In Character: : Arthos covered his mouth as the stench of fresh blood had permeated his nostrils. He began to search the room for any evidence of this being a professional who cut the limbs off or just crude fashion done by a goblin. The children's bodies were cold and he felt pity for them having to suffer as such but cared more that he wouldn't get paid. He would need to return for them and take them to their parents. Perhaps once the town saw how vile these creatures were they would be able to eradicate them themselves.
Avan hopes to catch up to Zork before either of them bump into something else. Avan holds the light and the cat is 10 feet ahead, sniffing around (I assume the rolls above were good enough)
Out of Character: I only just saw your Dungeon Master note, KNtoran. Sorry for not noticing. I was rolling at -4 to include the non-proficiency with bows. Neither Druid nor Half-elf grants it.
Krusten just keeps watch with her bow ready intent on slaying anyone wanting to open that door.
Zork knows he needs to be fast with his current search. He also remembers hearing a horse, he is intent on finding the reason and the key.
Faerydae gives more care to the girls since Krusten is there. "See girls, that is Krusten, she has slain more goblins than the whole party, we are safe now."
Avan knows the left corridor is fully explored and didn't see Zork down the entry corridor. But he tries to confirm with Mr Fluffles if there's Zork's scent down the north corridor.
