Krusten turns back a bit disappointed that no key is found. In her retreat she will be paying close attention to all sides.
Faerydae continues to ease the pain of those in the room as best she can with her limited abilities. She makes a suggestion that someone can ride quickly back to the village with the boy to get him better attention and perhaps speaking to the blacksmith about breaking the chains or cutting it with a file somehow?
Out of Character: Dead men can't talk
In Character: "We really should wait for him to wake," Avan says. "He seemed hot tempered, impulsive and jumpy when we ran into him. If he's missing his horse I don't know how he would react."
"I still want to try yanking this chain using everyone's strength as well. Best to wait for him to wake. I'll be on last watch."
Out of Character: Dungeon Master, are we waiting on anyone? I'd like to see the result of my inspection and Zork piling the bodies, but after your next post we'll probably rest.
Krusten returns to the room informing the others of what Zork and her did. She stays near the door listening for the night but trying to get a nap when its not her watch. She will take first watch.
Zork stays at the door with Krusten and offers to take second watch. He will rig some kind of noise maker to the inner part of the door so if it is opened slightly he will be alerted.
Avan thanks Krusten, "That's great! So there's another tunnel to explore? And it's not all the way on the other side of this cave."
He informs them, "I was hoping to count on everyone to help pull this chain. When Arthos awakes our combined strength with his horse might just be enough to break one of the links."
He assists Faerydae if she needs it and wakes for last watch.
Faerydae continues to help those that are injured the best she can but she will also get rest so she can apply healing in the morning.
