ooc: Wait, did we get the money for the heads cause I don't remember us handing them over for a reward.
ooc: I am sorry I am not completely done yet. I think we also need a row call of who has a horse and who doesn't. I think in the best scenario we would all have horses at this point. We would be able to move much faster and farther. A thought to those without money for a horse, you could buy a mule and ride that. Your not going to be able to go galloping off or anything but it will keep the party moving as mounted speed when traveling.
OOC: Excepting the guy who has a current weight of almost 100lbs, is poor, and can move 40ft per round anyways. Not to mention the cost of feeding a mount etc... Mounted speed is what, 50ft per round?
Ashar, realizing the need for a mount runs over to the stables. He attempts to pretend that horse trading is in his family lineage [bluff roll 23] in order to convince the stable owner to sell him his finest mule. After coughing up the 8 gold he drags the ornery beast from the stable.
Alright mule, I suppose I best be givin' you a name. How does Meat Shield work for you?
Namdar looks on approvingly as he notices an improvement, in general confidence and prowess in members of the party in general, and quality and usefulness of their equipment as well, and mounts begin to enter the picture. He sighs, thinking about Grue.
OOC:
I "handed out" the gold in my previous turn - 230 gold per person for the 7 long-termers.
Ashar wants to make an attempt to haggle for a "finest mule"? I will try to fit that in, in a post. So let's say Ashar will have a mount now.
I bought a horse last time - unfortunately, it is at the Duke's with Lionel...
Does Krusten still have the Duke's advisor's horse?
Oliron, what's your animal status now?
Who all else has a horse or mule etc? Beast? Pundit? Aive - no he left.
** Everyone: Post your new character stats and equipment bought in the Character Development Thread for KNtoran to update his info so we can move on, please.
ooc: I posted my stuf in character development. I have a carriage and light war horse so if like anyone needs a ride just hop on.
Ashar is stared down by Meat Shield - who brays in triumph as Ashar looks down. Considering his choices, Ashar decides to ride in the back of Beast's carriage and let Meat Shield walk along side.
I'll take a carriage ride any day over the back of that devious mule!
