Eth replies to Ryost with a frown
"Is it that obvious" she says with a soft sigh.
"This is my first time...in a city.... I just want to fit in so I can belong, I Am Strong and can look after myself, its just, it gets lonely..." She says as she squeezes the wolf now sleeping at her side.

Eth turns her head hiding the the glimmer of tears in her eyes as she softly say "I just want to fit in so people will stop leaving me."

Eth then slips the mug back onto the table giving it a foul look as she dose.
Then a smile grows on her face as she looks back to Ryost and excitedly asks"Will You Teach Me?"

When Ashar finishes each song Eth will applaud more loudly and enthusiastically in the same mannerism as she has noticed others do.

"I could try, I suppose. For a start, people are very attached to their belongings. Don't take anything that isn't yours without permission...

He proceeds to do his best to teach her the basics of dealing in society. Afterwards, he leans back with a sigh.

"And that's a bout it... It's a lot to go over at once. Basically, avoid people you don't know, don't take anything that isn't yours, and try not to hurt anyone unless they're trying to hurt you."

He smiles and bows a little, "By the way, I am Ryorst. Myself and a few of my acquaintances are trying to solve the orc problem around here. I am sure they would be glad to have your help, and if you want company, I'm sure they would be happy to be your friends. At the very least, you can count on me for a friend."

Namdar walks through the town quietly, surprised at such a hearty, bustling town in the face of the orc oppression - but that is the beauty of Man's greatest advantage perhaps, adaptability, to thrive in what should otherwise be inhospitable conditions. He realizes there is also likely a new tagger-along, but that is ok, he certainly understands the urchin style of outlook on life.

The half-orc turns in the weapons and armor for a little profit (11 falchions 75gp ea + 11 hide armors 7.5 gp each = 907 gp?!) as Pundit piously tithes his donated coins back to the poor and needy as a true faithful servant and religious adherent does.

Stone Giants? Namdar frowns slightly. The surrounding area filled with invading orcs and yet the town and the party has enough room for tangling with giants? He shakes his head again at adaptability. He also wondered what in the world giants hunted and ate all day every day.

Namdar purchases loyal and simple Beast a few pounds of fresh deer meat as well as some jerked and preserved for the trail, paying premium money for it, as well as purchasing everyone a few days worth of relatively fresh food, plus some extra trail rations.

22gp for 3 days fresh food for entire party (average, including deer meat)
12gp for 3 days trail rations for entire party
16gp for resupplying, minor repairs for entire party (bowstring, arrows, oil, etc)
21gp for 1 night Good inn + premiums (meals, wine etc) for entire party
4gp tip at inn and spending around town for info and misc. Necessities

Rather off topic, but...
75gp total expenses/loadout for party for 3 days in Nevestral

rations = 5 oz per meal + water, wine or ale in wineskin flask or travel tankard
Rations, Fresh, 1 day, 1 lb = 1gp(+1sp)
Rations, Trail, 1 day, 1 lb = 6sp

Namdar splits the reminaing money among the party, giving the other regular members 130gp each, and agrees to help outfit the newcomer on an allowance basis of 52gp if anything useful is found in town.

Al Sattar checks the bag of orc heads in or has them stored somewhere, with deodorizing and cleaning, as the party is about to head out - to check out the giants!

He wanders town and talks to the council, and especially any hunters and travelers and experienced traders and people who have encountered the brutes, trying to learn what he can about the giants, their relative intelligence, attitudes, likelihood of being amiable or friendly, of being able to work out some sort of trade or deal with them.

"I think we might as well check out the giants while we are here - they shouldn't be all that hard to find from a distance, without them seeing us, and we can decide what to do from there." says Namdar to the others. "But for now let's get a good rest here, and tomorrow we'll set out. "

Thread Party Post Play Dragons and Dungeons

Beast sees a half orc lady that catches his eye, she says she can cook deer meat like no one else can. Beast is like seeing stars and hearts so he follows her while saying to the others that he'll catch up with them later.

ooc: Since where in a safe place I'll let my character stay here for awhile and catch up with you guys later. I put in my thread that its vacation time now so I'll like be away for awhile and don't like no one else seeing about my character.

OOC: Beast will be sorely missed in tangling with giants, I suspect! Have a good vacation! For that matter, everyone, right now, I'm feeling pretty bad - if anyone wants to forward the game before I am able, you are welcome to, and run me along if you want, I don't know what's wrong but I'm feeling really, really bad right now and I'm not sure when I'm going to be able to post again if I start feeling much worse, so think about someone else taking up the PL mantle if I don't post in the next day or two or four (if everyone's taking the weekend). Hopefully I'll be fine by then but just in case, I wanted to let everyone know.
