Out of Character:: I recognize your guys desire to go back north and take on the orcs. However, I thought that the DM made it pretty clear that the encounter was too strong for the time being. As it stands, only one, maybe two of us have ranged weapons to fight them with, and if I recall, they had a lot of ranged power. Not a good way to go. As to direction we go now, I'm saying ruins are our best bet. I only say this because a lot of us have been stuck in limbo for months in real life waiting for something to do. I rather not spend another 2 weeks determining where to go when we have a legit destination already known. I'll hold off on orders just to allow time for party input.
Daine calls up to the others from the rear.
"If you guys are undecided about which way to go, I say we take a vote on it. So Far, I think three of us want to go east, one to go south, and two neutral on the decision. If this is to change, speak now, otherwise we will go east."
A'htad raises his hand and calmly says "I vote that we head towards the ruins," as warmly as he can manage.
A'htad then turns to the fighter on his horse and offers his hand and a small attempt at a smile. "I'll extend greetings, as I don't believe we've had much chance to talk before this. I believe your name is Oliron? My name is A'htad Ar'Rigare."
I say, that we are at least ready for anything that needs a magical weapon to kill. Can we take stock. If you have a weapon or spell, or anything capable of attacking a ghost or otherwise something that you can't hit without magic, please say so. I think this would end really badly if we couldn't do anything to an enemy.
I can inflict 1 damage magically. Not worth much if we can't do other damage.
Out of Character:: remember you can also turn undead draknell. Also, what domains did you take? Also remember that you have access to one level one spell, which I would suggest you make it "magic weapon", giving someone's weapon magical properties of +1 for 1 minute, otherwise if you're looking to do a lot of damage, use magic stone to attack with 3 stones to do 1d6+1 each. I'll prob be useless for anything that requires magical attacks, but I'm meant to be useless for the first couple of levels as per my design.
That being said though, I'm sure the GM would not have us enter an area beyond our level capabilities, so I doubt we'll be facing anything big like greater wraiths or anything.
I feel like I gave ample time for any objections, so I will post that we are going east.
Daine calls out to the party that they will be heading east.
