Out of character: So can I scout the ruins ahead with my checks of hide 18 and move silently 27? You didn't post it in the party leader thread.
If someone wants to counter it on their watch (likely Orilon and Ahted, as they're after my watch) with a perception roll, feel free.
Out of Character:: I need everyone to post spot and listen checks for their watches. Also, I'll post in the leader thread about you abandoning the group and scouting ahead if you so wish.
I rolled a 7 and 15 on spot and listen for Daine. Also, a cleric still needs to decide his spells at the beginning of the day, but can swap any of them for a cure spell at any time.
Uthet during his watch will be armored up but with melee weapons out and will stay by the fire 5 feet away facing outwards to the north standing still and rotating clockwise the cardinal points every 10 min'.
His spot is a 16
His listen is a 15
Out of character on the topic of clerics Oliron is partially correct. All clerics still have to pray for there spells ( with bonus wisdom ) and domain spells. Normal levels spells can be switched on the fly such as Ash has guidance in his list and desperately needs a cure minor etc however a cure spell cannot ever be reversed to a guidance, on Domain spells once chosen for the day they are in rock so choose wisely. I hope that cleared things up a bit.
Out of Character:: to try and make this super clear for you draknell:
A cleric is better than a wizard or sorcerer in the sense that they don't need to memorize spells, they have access to all spells that are within their level. That being said, at the beginning of the day, the cleric has to pray to their god and choose only a handful of those spells out of the total number to use for the day. The only exception to this rule is healing spells (and domain spells too sometimes). For that reason, clerics should never prepare healing spells, as they can cast those whenever they want at the expense of an already previously prepared spell. For example, say you chose create water, read magic, and resistance as your three spells for the day, and you desperately needed a healing spell. You can cast heal and pretend that you used up one of your other spells (we'll say create water) to do it. However, when you swap out spells to cast healing, the spell lost is the same level of the heal performed.
Out of Character: gunner1116, the were-turtle thing is still in the hands of the GM. But for now I am just playing as a human who is cursed, which caused him to transform into a turtle sometime in the past. (I'm still not sure if I can turn into one yet or if I have a choice over it at all)
