Out of Character: Pulling the wagon backwards is a great idea but I don't know if it will work for up a hill. We do not necessarily have to go to the top of the hill either just enough to not be on the flat.

Out of Character: My issue with using horsepower to go backwards uphill is it may take too long to set it back up. If we just use manpower and push, we waste no time tying ropes and redoing buckles. There's like 8 of us, right?
And if I didn't spontaneously summon a wolf, I can cast Speak with Animals and direct the horses up the hill.
Out of character We still have to un hitch the horses and we don't need to take their saddles off. Any time we lose tying the horses with rope to the back will be made up by having the horses do the work. We can have a couple watch, and assist the horses and chalk the wheels when it gets up the hill and the rest of us can be watching our backs from attack.
Out of character It sounds as though we can't move the wagon at all, though he wasn't clear on us pushing it up the hill, I am game on giving that a try but if we di I think we will need one person to watch our back.
Out of Character: Looks like it. I do not want to abandon the wagon. I like to move the horses to a safe place and I will like to use the war wagon as bait. Set it up like we are camping there and then wait some distance away. For it to work we will have to do it at night. What do you think?
I think we should be able to do that. We can move the horses back a little ways, like our wagon got stuck (Which it is), and then make a small fire with 1 or 2 people obviously around it and the rest wait further back. Or we could try to setup 'dummies' out of extra clothes and leaves stuffing to sit around the fire, while all of us go wait further back.
