Out of Character: Funny you should mention that because right now a whole bunch of rolls need to be made again. I am for it so long as you don't mind being on the losing end if the Dungeon Master doesn't roll the way you hoped.
Out of Character: So far that is three of us that agree and the rest need to respond to my post: # in case you missed it because I initially posted in the wrong place.
Out of Character: Well, going back to how the game was organised originally, the elected leader could post extra rolls for a non-poster. In my campaign, I roll whatever the rules say should be rolled but the players may have forgotten (And I mention it unless it calls for a secret roll).
Out of Character: Not one leader doing it but the Dungeon Master doing it. Even if the leader was doing it the Dungeon Master could still say "I need rolls for… " we cannot anticipate all the rolls the Dungeon Master will need unless we throw up random rolls each time.
In Character: "There are some huge bull-like creatures behind the waterfall. They didn't even give me chance to get a good footing. They're probably smart enough to not come out here for an ambush either."
In Character: "You should have run… no one would have fault you for doing it and it would have given me a good shot at them. That's behind us now. I need to hold this position in case they want to charge. Either there is an alternative entrance or… what's the plan?"
While tending to Zork, Albrecht listens in and responds "I think we can use Avan's plan of a smokestick to give us the element of surprise so we can establish ourselves in the mouth of the cave. A minotaur is the name of the creature, judging by the tracks and the description Zork gave. They won't try to charge us in the smoke, for fear of going over the edge and drowning. We can use that to overwhelm them with our numbers." Turning to Zork, he asks "How many were there?"
