Out of Character: "Fair enough… we can also take alternative paths there is nothing to say we must enter this cave now but we can take note of it and try again later when their guard is down."
"Will we not want to keep watch?" Avan asks. "If we cannot confront them head on, we could at least starve them out or make sure they aren't leaving the cave in the middle of the night to relocate.
Out of Character: Yet another leaves this campaign… how often I've seen that… too often. At least there is one new player to fill the gap. We need to 'find' him.
In Character: Zork makes his survey and comes back with the choices available.
Out of Character: We have several paths to take. Which one? I defer to Daishain as it was his idea to take a different path.
Out of Character: The wagon option caused the others some trouble didn't it so let's take something easier? I'm good either way let's just keep moving.
Out of Character: Frankly, the option that most appeals to me is simply to back off just enough and wait, get them to lower their guard. Even if they don't exit and come looking for us, it should help keep going in after them from being a deathtrap.
Finding some way to seal this entry while looking for another way in may or may not be viable. Or we could just forget about it and move on.
Out of Character: Then why not camp by the pool and have an overnight watch? There's access to fresh water as well. If they can see in the dark - simple, we set up a fire and a few torches.
By the way, I'm only down 1 healing spell, I think Fearydae is out and Albrecht has only spent 1 orison. As Krusten mentioned, it's still feasible to try a different offensive strategy before camping. Maybe tie ropes to each other so that no one person gets knocked into the pool?
