O I agree with holding as much as the Dungeon Master will let us get away with, I was only saying that I think only 2 chest could fit in the wagon if any people wanted to ride in there too. If we just want to have the wagon as a mobile treasury, then 4 is probably fine. Also the Dungeon Master might not care about space as much and just say that we have the 4 chests and all the characters that want to ride back there.
Otherwise the distribution looks good to me.
In Character: Krusten steps forward and takes the eleven chain and the +4 long sword and lets out a wicked chuckle.... "Look at these, just imagine how I will be with them as part of my list. You guys go ahead and take the rest, just make sure I get my gold count."
Out of Character: Is that long sword just +4, no other factors?
I am not sure what its mechanics are exactly, but I know everyone rode in it except Krusten up front with the driver, and Albrecht and Zork out on horses. So it held at least 4 people (Faerydae, Avan, Mr. Fluffles, and two more who have left). It was pulled by a team of 2 horses I believe (Though it may have been 4 horses). We called it a war wagon and planned to use it as defense. I found this reference for a Pathfinder similarity. It must be using some strange rules though because I don't know what everything is referring to, but you can see it can carry 6 (2 up front and 4 in the covered part) as well as 4 cargo (Which I assume each of the chest would be 1 cargo).
The strange stuff is for the Kingdom building rules, like what we're messing with over in Icon's PF game.
In any case, if the interior is roughly the size of a typical covered wagon as that indicates, four normal sized chests could be stacked up in there along with other gear, and there'd still be room for at least four passengers. We'd have to haul the stack around to actually get anything out, but that's a minor issue.
Out of Character: That was just a random reference I found. Not what we officially based our wagon on. You may can search through KNtoran's Dungeon Master thread to find more details.
Out of Character: The war wagon, in my opinion, was a more a burden and a target more than anything else. Plus we would need a driver, I say leave it but if you all insist then you will need to be responsible. Krusten is on a war horse the last thing she wants to worry about is a slow war wagon. Its just not her style *wink*.
