We will need to make camp soon.
* Krusten tells the party with some concern. *
She looks up at the sky as it darkens.
* Orcs with bows at night is not something of a fair challenge she thinks to herself. *
Thinking about what Krusten says makes the Beast wonder if he can kill a few orcs in the darkness. Beast smiles as though he is already doing it. He starts to imagine the fame of being a hero (poor guy).
The half-orc nods as the group begins their activity. "We need to get the bodies off the road into the trees here, where we can cleave the skulls from the carcasses, and add them to our collection." he says, softly kicking the "trophy bag" with the other two orc heads in it. "Staying off the road and in the dark, and setting up camp, as Krusten says, needs to be our next priority, I feel. We probably need to be camped about 1 to 2 hours before nightfall, so we'll be well settled in and able to be on the lookout."
Namdar looks at the other members, in various states of emotion, from consternation to elation to unknowable inner turmoil, as Krusten and others fiddle with retrieving arrows from bodies. "We all did fine, everyone, each person contributed, some directly actively, but others by being there and reliable, for each other, to take up the slack and improvise to keep each other safe, had the need arisen. This is the kind of organization we need to maintain to stay safe and successful. Way to work as a team!"
Namdar and Jenrek proceed a short ways ahead on the trail from whence the orcs came, to make sure they have at least a slight overview of what awaits the group, to make sure it is safe to make camp here.
The group drags the bodies into the woods, and Namdar and the rangers return to the path and "smooth out" the road and immediate area as well as possible, to avoid leaving any obvious signs of conflict or activity, before the group loots and beheads the bodies, further into the woods, which they then dispose of, before moving forward a bit then scouting out an area to make camp (presuming the day is darkening).

"Be glad to take first watch and I must ask how many heads do we need before heading back?"
Looks over the bodies to see if any in the group can benefit from the weapons they carried will help them.
"I will stand out side of the fire light so that it does not hamper my night vision. We need to ensure that mule is well tied before we sleep. I am sure wolves will like its odor."
Lionel listens to the rest group make plans; he says very little, just enough to be of help to the group as best as he can. After he is done, Lionel feels now would be as good a time as any to talk, waves Pundit over to the far end of camp, to insuring privacy. Lionel wises to be out of ear shot from the rest of the group, because he's not even sure how Pundit will take what he needs to say. Lionel is nervous and just a bit scare, he asks, "Pundit do you have some time?"
