Out of Character: Our best shot at dealing with the mage was always you Krusten, that's why I suggested you head to the tower with almost everyone else.
That requirement for your bow has not changed, and Bastion still has a few minutes of flight time left, so this is what he will be thinking once he confirms the situation on the West wall:
-Hop Deanna and Albrecht down to the wall, bypassing the stairs with flight.
-Get Krusten back on her feet, followed by Ildrahil if he goes down in the meantime
-Hold the wall while Krusten and Deanna try to kill that mage before he does much damage
-reassess, if need be, use flight to evacuate people back down to Avan's location.
Out of Character: Yeah, but the Dungeon Master saw it differently despite my saying I was looking to be in the shadows since as an archer I am not good with closed combat but he put me on the wall with all the light and little time to get shots in?
Out of Character: Okay, it looks like we can recover, just need to keep this up. Heals incoming for Krusten. The first HP hit won't be enough to get her on her feet, but itl stop the bleeding, and more will follow.
P.S. Ildrahil, don't forget we both get a flanking bonus on anyone between him and Bastion.
Out of Character: I don't want to leave Deanna by herself up here, because I know the Dungeon Master will have some people pop up the stairs and start attacking her if I do (Usually is the case), but I hate being useless up on the wall just waiting. I have been able to use some ranged spells up til now, but I don't have much else. Do you think sending Mass Snakes Swiftness to you guys would help? It gives you an instant extra attack, but doesn't change your initiative order. So you would basically get one extra melee or ranged attack for free. If I wait until Krusten is awake, then all three of you would get an extra attack and could hopefully finish off the guards on the wall.
Out of Character: it is instantaneous. You get one attack right then (By magically enhancing you to move). It has no penalties you just attack once out of turn, then go back to attacking like normal.
Then let's see where we are when Krusten gets up and see if we need it. I assume there is going to be a time when there are a lot of them surrounding us. We may want to save this for a bit. Again, depending on how many bad guys are around us next round or the round after. This would be something we might want Krusten to have when she starts targeting the mage with her arrows.
