Out of Character: ICon, I feel that KNtoran interpreted the flame spell differently too. I tried to say that he has it to hurl, but he seemed to treat it more as a ray. Either way that is over and done now, so we will know for the future. I will check on Deanna and withdraw from the edge. I didn't think the guy I entagled was anywhere near Deanna. I will have to ask KNtoran about that. The robbed mage (The bad guy) is at least prone right now. He might be dead. We seem to have a chance of winning this, if we can keep our head about us. Krama is pretty badly damaged, but she will fight until she can't. Hopefully she'll be able to survive until Albrecht can join her.
I'm loving the imagery of Avan, fighting with nought but animals (A hipporiff counts) in his vanguard.
I hope they do not have more waves coming from the caves, but in that case, Entagle and Summon Swarm are still available to me.
Out of Character: I put up some detailed actions for Krusten based on what she is able to do based on her location so hopefully I can give some support to the battle.
Out of Character: My understanding was the entangled guy was standing near the top of the stairs when Albrecht got him. Since Deanna stubbornly refused to move as advised, that would put the hostile currently in between Deanna's form and Albrecht.
"I urge you not to remain here, we cannot prevail if we spend half our efforts saving the people who insist on being alone. Please follow."
Out of Character: For Krusten and Ildrahil, the west wall itself is secure, but it is exposed to archer fire from within the courtyard, and the guys in the quartyard seem to be at least nearly as good as Krusten at that. Firing five to one, the most likely outcome is everyone on the west wall gets felled by arrows in a few rounds without having much of an affect. So both in character and out, I strongly suggest that you two abandon this position and regroup at the top of the tower like we had intended from the start. You can be airlifted if you want to save time, or take the stairs if not, either way, we've got to stick together.
Okay, agreed. I just declared an action. How about you take Krusten and Ildrahil will follow after his action. If you can come back for him all the better. You can't take them together I don't think. Ildrahil weighs too much. [By The Way], Heck of a shot to hit Ildrahil's 22 AC.
Out of Character: you could use your movement after your declared shot to go up the stairs. Won't get up top as fast as with the airlift, but you won't be sitting there getting shot at in the meantime.
