You only have enough experience to make to level four. So you would have to be a level 3 rogue and a level one something else. Remember total levels. You would have to have enough experience to reach level 5 to level up again in the second class. 3+1 is 4 levels. A level 4 rogue and a level 2 Thaumaturgist is 4+2 or six levels.
Uh, before this gets too far, Thaumaturgist is a homebrew class. It is NOT legal for play unless Kntoran reviews it and decides to houserule it in.
In terms of suggestions, you could go for the Daggerspell mage prestige class. You won't be able to pick that up right now though, you'll need to build for it. The best way to do that is pick up 1 level of Wizard or Beguiler, and the Practised Spellcaster feat. Take something else for level 5, and then at level 6, you'll qualify for the Daggerspell Mage. The same path can get you to qualify for Unseen Seer, which is also good.
Avenger is a good PrC in line with your current abilities. Its focus is on maximizing the impact of sneak attack.
On a more martial bent, you could also pick up a few levels of Swordsage. That class is similar in style of play to the warblade, Bastion's main class, but is more oriented for two weapon fighting sneaky types. Swashbuckler is also a good option.
Your not the only one still waiting for the Cleric, for healing. In fact all of the party members, require healing, to some degree.
Everyone, knew you had passed out. But now would like to see more combat from you.
Ok, I've adjusted my character sheet now to reflect, a change to multi-class Rogue 3rd level, Beguiler 1st level.
As opposed to a standard level, up to Rogue 4th level. As requested by KN, have made the appropriate changes to Rivorils character sheet.
Unless, otherwise noted he is resting back in the village, and or seeking healing from the Cleric.
Beguiler, was one of the suggested character types, by Dai earlier. He will be more useful, and his skill set will compliment the Rogue. The spells, are not very offensive, but allows for a more stealthier, defensive Rogue type.
Unfortunately, still unable to deal extensive damage, either of a magical or non-magical nature out in the open terrain. But more useful, in enclosed environments like a dungeons, caverns etc. Edited: anronrosby on 26th Jun, 2018 - 4:37am
Out of Character: A large part of the key for the rogue is to maximize your sneak attack damage. So always try to find ways to get that S A bonus in. Do so, and the damage will stack up.
Also, next time we're in town with a good bit of loot, you may want to invest in items that will enhance sneak attacks. Edited: daishain on 26th Jun, 2018 - 4:37am
Avan had self-buffs prepared, and can use his Pearl of Power to cast a Cure Moderate Wounds on the shadow, but it's probably best for Bastion to take it on so we don't use up our scant resources. I can also summon something if we need to, maybe a small fire elemental against the shadow or a Hippogriff against the horde, probably better to do it earlier.
