"Welcome Ryorst, of what faith are you?"
Pundit wonders why the DUke would have told his guards to stay clear of the parts the orcs are raiding. I wonder if this is about the surrounding real estate and the Duke is trying to drive the farmers out so he can take their land?
ooc: Welcome to the party, when you're not in character you put "OOC" which means "out of character". You are correct about how the game runs. Next thing you should do now is update your character info and choose an avatar for your character. If you have more questions you can see the link Persephone put in your post.
OOC: Oh, so I'm already there, and you already know my name? Uh... OK, sure, why not? Whatever gets me in faster.
"I am not a man of faith, other than my faith in myself."
Ryorst regards the group with curiosity, wondering if they are off on an adventure such as he has been searching for. Unable to figure it out by merely looking at them, he decides to ask. He was never one for subtlety.
"Are you off on a journey? Fighting bands of thieves and saving the land from tyranny, or even just slaying rats and looking for gold?"
ooc: Saves time you having to say it and "Hello". I just assume we see you on the path.
We have many who are also half-orc with us. You are looking for what then if you have faith in yourself?
I could not help but notice you wear garments of a pesant, is it a disguise?
Pundit then tells him where we have been and what we have seen.
"Yes, we could use an escort to the Duke's home", Lionel says to the solders. He then sets his sights on Ryorst. Lionel walks over to Ryorst, and giving a nod to Pundit, takes Ryorst aside and says softly, "Actually we have two goals right now, one to help farmer that have an orcs infestation, and two to see if the Duke is somehow involved with the orcs because we suspect foul play on his part". Lionel walks Ryorst back to the group and the solders, he continues saying, "We welcome you to the group, and I could always use another man to fight for me, and I will pay you well. We will be stopping at the Duke's first, because I wish to become acquainted with the royalty in these parts", Lionel finishes. He smiles at Ryorst and gives a look that says "we will tell you more latter".
ooc: welcome Ryorst, lets be careful what we say around the solders okay.

Seeing the half orc causes Beast to be more curious but he says nothing, he just nods his head.
"What will we do now? Wait for Lionel or continue on our way?"
Oliron kicks the dirt spitting, "To the Devil's."
Oliron is agitated and seems a bit enraged at the soldiers lack of information on the location of the orcs.
He stares ominously at the soldiers.
"This is no good soldiers."
"I know you know the location of the orcs."
"If you had any honor you would tell us wear to find them."
Oliron grips the hilt of his blade.
ooc: Oliron wonders what luck it is to see another capable adventurer cross their path. If the soldiers do not answer Oliron he will follow the group towards were they think the orcs are.

* Krusten looks at yet another join in the party. A male and half-orc, both characteristic she despises but tolerates until she can get herself to a high level. She wonders if this one is a spy and will suddenly leave or go silent or if he is loyal to the group. Only time will tell she thinks to herself as she remains quite while waiting to see what some of the party members decide. *
OOC: I completely forgot about clothing. Uh... Well, I suppose as a barbarian, it might even make sense for me to be walking around naked. Except I'm wearing armor. No clothes, just armor. Weird, but logical.
Ryorst laughs heartily. Orc slaying and a possibly underhanded duke. He had walked right into an adventure that would surely make him stronger. Though there was one in the group that seemed to dislike him. He best try and befriend her, or that could lead to trouble down the road. Oh, and someone was already picking a fight with the guards. What a strange group. Strange, but fun. He pulled out his flail and prepared for a fight, standing next to the distrustful girl, but a little bit off. Out of her way, but ready to assist if she needs help. Though picking a fight with guards was rather reckless, if it happened, better to be prepared than caught unawares.
OOC: Without knowing the DM, I can't say what he'll do here for sure, but judging from what I've read so far, it seems that just going with these guards might be walking into an ambush, but fighting them is still a bad idea. Someone with high diplomacy might want to talk us down.
