ooc: I am wondering how well of a hiding spot this would be. If I where chased into the house how hard would it be for someone to find the hatch if I tried to hide it a little more. Maybe disguising the wood to look the same. I still think I have missed something down here.
Tobo looks for the source of the dripping he is hearing. He also examines the dead end. Wondering if this is a cave in or if it was sealed, patching a tunnel that may be on the other side.
You look at the ceiling wondering where the fresh water is coming from. You think about it as you study the ceiling. You do not see any sign of a cave in or a sealed passageway.
The trap door that leads down to the cellar is very hard to spot. You can see that if it was not for you looking for a loose board you would have had no idea it was there.
Tobo counts the paces back to the stairs, climbs them, and shuts the hatch. He then trys to keep an accurate count as to how far away he is from the end of the tunnel in the basement. His goal is to return to the street and retrace his paces back to the end of the tunnel. This way he will have an idea of what is directly above the dead end, on the surface.
Hopefully, if he doesn't get caught before he gets to it. Tobo is satisfied that he has given himself a way out. He then begins to case certain houses. Looking for middle class houses with a low number of residents.

You pace off your tunnel and then try to pace it off outside. You have to detour around a couple homes and a business but it seems if you have counted right that your secret hole dead ends not three paces from one of the cities major wells. You watch as women and a few men bring their items for carrying water, fill them, and then depart.
As you idly walk around the area you can see a couple nice houses that seem to meet what your looking for.
Tobo wonders at the information on the cellar and well. The puzzle not fully fitting together yet in his tiny halfling brain. He plans to break into a house he has scoped out later that evening. Tobo tries to find Falco at the marketplace or if not there at the guild. Either way he returns to the guild for a nap. He asks Falco if he wants in on the house Tobo plans to break into.
