Forum Based Dungeons DragonsDungeons & Dragons - if you want to participate in a SOLO Dungeons & Dragons Adventure then you must create a separate Character for Solo play and not the same Character you use in group games.

I will bring the toad with me and I will call him Toadie. wink.gif

Tobo heads south to the swamp.

The plan, in his head, is to contact his lizard friend Slickhide. From there discuss the possibility of a road heading threw their swamp and see how they feel about it.

Ok you prepare to head for the swamp once again. It is a three day walk south of the city gates.

Tobo chants a few arcane words, twinkles his fingers in the air and tosses a patch of horse hair into the air. A pony appears in front of him ready to serve, bit and bridle. Tobo mounts the pony proudly wondering if anyone was watching him do this.

Tobo finds himself whistling an unknown tune once again. He heads south, tiny head a flutter.

ooc: I would like to use all four slots on mount spell for traveling. This should give Tobo 8 hours of travel time with the pony I think.

Yes you can use all your slots for mount but remember you have only one spell per day to use. You will have to rest for four hours after you cast the spell to regain the ability to recast a spell. On pony it will take you a little under a day and a half to reach the swamp. Toadie will ride in your backpack where he can stay out of the sun for now.

ooc: Oh I didn't realize I can only cast it once. I thought if I had all of my 4 spells for that day put in mount then I could use it for times that day. I am just wondering does this rule apply to every spell or just mount, and why? I understand what you meant about the 4 hour thing, I just never heard of this before.

As a wizard of the first rank you get 3 zero level spells and 1 first level spell per day. This can be increased by a high intelligence level as per the rules.

ooc: I have Tobo's intelligence at 16, does that give me 4 first level spells per day?

If that is what it says then yes. The base is 1 per day but higher intelligence gives one more spells.
