Forum Based Dungeons DragonsDungeons & Dragons - if you want to participate in a SOLO Dungeons & Dragons Adventure then you must create a separate Character for Solo play and not the same Character you use in group games.

ooc: Ok for Tobo's mount spell then I want to cast it 4 times a day, putting all available spell slots into mount. This way every 2 hours (the spells duration) I can recast it. This will give Tobo 8 hours of mounted travel, and possibly he can walk for some time after that. Before I try and cross the swamp though I want to rest and learn different spells.

Ok You can do that. This will take you two days of travel to reach the edge of the swamp. Let me know what spells you have memorized for the day as you look over the swamp.

Tobo stands at the edge of the swamp. He sets up camp and goes over his spell book focusing his mind and energies on the spells he will need.

Tobo puts the whistle that was given to him by Slickhide to use. He blows into it a few times, not sure if he is doing it right. He waits by the edge of the swamp gazing out into it. Waiting with his new found powers of patience for a response from beyond.

You sit down at the edge of the swamp and wait. It is about three hours when a large lizard surfaces in front of you. It looks at you as it slides through the water to the edge of the swamp. What do you do?

Tobo says what few words he can remember in lizardfolk to the beast. Then chatters to it in common, "Nice lizard . . ." He tosses a bit of his rations out in front of the lizard. Then just for good measure he blows on the whistle once more, just a little.

He can't help but think this lizard is probably looking at him like a bite sized morsel. He pulls out some caltrops just in case the lizard tries to eat him. Then he might be able to give it a mouthful of spikes instead.

The lizard looks at the rations you throw in its direction and eats them. It continues to look at you as you blow on the whistle and prepare to battle it. It does not say anything or do anything besides stand there by the edge of the swamp.
