Solo Post Play Dragons and Dungeons

Lionel wonders how his friends, and considers how best to join back up with them. He thinks about what he has learned, and hopes that he may find his sister someday.

Ok you will learn from over hearing people that you companions made a trip north with a caravan. It will not be due back for about two weeks yet. They are hoping that it made it there and makes it back safely.

Page 44 Solo Post Play Dragons and Dungeons

Ooc: I'm not sure exactly how to start back up, any suggestions? Unless it would be better otherwise, I think I'll have Lionel wait for the group to return. If it is all right with you could you give me a summary of what Lionel may have learned in the amount of time that has gone by?
We did decide that Lionel stayed at the Stronghold, right?
Also yes I know this is fully a out of character post, sorry about that.

Yes Lionel stayed at the stronghold and has learned a lot about the history of the land while there. As you stated you were going to be studying in the library. In game time for you only 10 days has passed.

D&D Play By Post Solo

Lionel decides that it is time for him to start talking to the Duke Thermwood and Lady Natasha again, as he feels that he has learned about everything he can from the library. Lionel thinks that now is the time to learn more about this head adviser (what is his name again?) that seems to be such a powerful user of magic and try to get into a position of influence with the Duke.
Lionel is worried, as he is starting to think whether if now is the time to put his plan he has been considering into effect and wishes that there was someone that he could trust and talk to (the plan involving Lionel pretending to betray his group, remember). Lionel looks up to a servant that was nearby and says with a tired smile, "You, could you tell me your name. I would like you to give word to Thermwood and Lady Natasha that I would like to meet with them individually as soon as possible. Thank you."

You are still a level one character. The servants name is jon and he will bow and leave taking word to both the Duke and Lady Natasha that you wish to speak with them at their earliest convenience.

About 15 minutes after he leaves Lady Natasha will walk into the library. She will smile at you as she takes a seat across the table from you. She will wait for you to ask a question.

"I have something to confess. I am uncertain if you know this, but you uncle didn't fall down the stairs and hurt himself. Instead my group, in their over zealousness to take down one they saw as a villain, attacked your uncle. I did not know this until after the fact and if I would have known and been there, I would have stopped them", Lionel told Lady Natasha with a sigh, "I apologize, both for being a part of a group that harmed a member of your family and for not telling you sooner".
ooc: Here goes the start of my plan...
I roll for charisma and wisdom to both have Natasha react as positively as possible and for Lionel to gauge Lady Natasha reaction, partly of which to see if she knows what Lionel is talking about.
Charisma roll: 17 Wisdom: 20
