Lady Natasha will look at you and you can see her thinking. Finally she tells the guards to take you to the tower. They gag you and cover your head with a hood but they are not rough in any way. You are taken to one of the five towers and placed into a room. The door is locked from the outside. You have a small window to look out and not of your items you had with you were taken. You can hear a guard outside the door. Looking up you can see that your at the very top of the tower. IF you look out the window you have a wonderful view of the area surrounding the keep on one side.

For now Lionel will sit and wait, he will also be careful not to let his thoughts wonder to anything that might give him away (he will most likely be doing a lot of this), but will instead focus on thinking about his sister and the destruction of his father's kingdom. As he waits he will cast Detect Magic, and make a Concentration check as well as he does so.

ooc: Rolls please, as I am pretty sure I will need make some, unless it is unnecessary because he has time and is not distracted. (can't remember)

"It has been a while, about 10 years since I have seen her. You see my father's kingdom was attacked when I was about 14 years old. My beloved sister had just turned 11 about a week after the attack. She was the joy of the kingdom and, though young, showed great maturity. She was known for her loving nature and forgiving heart.
She shared a strong connection will nature, seemed to be able to literally talk with animals, with plants and trees, even with the wind. She has a great empathy toward others, the priest even saying she can hear the cries of those that are lonely or sad, and has innate understanding and compassion for others. She had deep brown hair and forest green eyes. Yet much of this may have changed. The last I heard of her, her guardian had died and she was seen walking into the forest with a wolf companion she had acquired. I miss her so much.," Lionel tells Lady Natasha with a sigh.

Lady Natasha will say I see. Tell me about yourself and how you came to be here. I am curious on how you ended up with the group you were with.

Lionel smiles and says, "How about I tell you it in a way similar to the why I told those I traveled with"¦
I, Lionel Alexander Cortez, was part of a family made up of four members; there was my father, my mother, I, and my younger sister.
My father was known for his bravery and intelligence, respected by his people for his fair hand, and just rule. He was the protector of the kingdom, and I had inspired to be just like him.
My mother was known for her kindness and generous spirit, loved by her people for her wisdom and understanding. She was the judge of the kingdom; many came to her from all over the land for her advice and option.
Then there was my beloved sister and, like I said before, she was the joy of the entire kingdom. She, though only 11 years old, had already shown great maturity for her age, known for her loving nature, and forgiving heart.
There were others in my life, like the court sorcerer who seemed to show a great interest in me. My father's general, one of his most trusted advisers. There was also the kingdom's priest, who was I and my sister's teacher.

But my happy life was shattered, the day the kingdom was attack. By the time my father knew what was happening, more than a third of his army had been destroyed, counting his trusted general. His people where being slaughtered. I was then that right before my eyes the king, my father, was killed by what seemed to be a lord of the Abyssal Plane. It was later that I would find out that this Abyssal lord was the one the cause and reason behind the attack. The court sorcerer appeared and carried me off, out of danger. All I saw when being brought out of the kingdom was the death of everything I had ever known, of everyone I had ever loved. Latter, on a high mountain I confronted the sorcerer, demanding if he know if anyone else lived. The sorcerer said that my sister had escaped, with her guardian the priest. When I asked if I could be taken to her, the sorcerer said no, that we must be kept separate for now. I wasn't happy about this but accepted it for now. I grew into a man, growing in the magical arts, and being taught by the sorcerer and my mentor. But I never forgot my sister and continued to blame myself for what had happened, and how I wasn't there for my beloved sister. One day I found a letter on my mentor's desk; it said that my sister's guardian is dead, and that she had walked away with a wolf. I know then that I had to find her, and that I would also need to become strong enough to have vengeance on the lord who killed my father and destroyed everything I had ever cared about, so I set out off my own. Where was Heironeous then, my family a the kingdoms patron deity.

It was a few months later that I came upon a travel group of adventures and, having heard of their purpose, I thought they could be of use to me. Most, if not all, I was able to get on good terms with almost immediately. Though, annoyingly, they did not always see things the way I did, which also meant I had to go along with what they wanted when I could not convince them otherwise. I have been traveling with them from the beginning of their adventure, and as such have gained their trust. At first it was just battling orcs, a very boring and frustrating thing. Yet, thankfully, we came upon the Duke's brother's farm and noticed almost immediately something was off, as all the other farms we came upon had been destroyed by orcs and the sickening deaths of those that lived there," Lionel paused, his smile growing very wide.

"It was I that caught on to the fact that the farmer was the Duke's brother and that perhaps he was paying the orcs to leave the farmer alone. It was I that convinced the group to travel with me to take a detour to the Duke's fortress. Surprisingly, it didn't take me long to figure out that the Duke's adviser, your uncle Koven, was most likely deceiving the Duke. Amusingly, I never seriously thought that you were a part of it though, thinking you were too innocent. Though the group I had traveled with suspected you were involved," Lionel admitted, somewhat annoyed.

"After hearing what had happened to the group I traveled with and your uncle, I realized just how foolish the group I was traveling with was, and that I would be more likely to get the help I need from you and your uncle Koven. Which is why I am here now," Lionel finishes, laughing, with a somewhat twisted smile lingering on his face.

Interesting tale she says after your done. But you know now that I am the real power behind the Orcs. They do as I say and attack who I tell them to attack. My uncle is just the go between. He is the one who takes the gold to the orcs. Even though he makes it look like it is the Dukes brother. That is why they leave that farm alone. I also know who it was who summoned that foul beast that destroyed your home. It was my mentor and trainer in the arts of wizardry. He was a bastard off spring that was shunned from your fathers kingdom. The loathing that grew in his soul as he watched his half brother rise to power and have the perfect wife and family ruling over his perfect little kingdom. What did he get? he got nothing until he made a pact with the devil himself for power and mastery. Now I am in the one with the power and this kingdom here will become mine. The duke is nothing more than a pawn. IF you wish to be a part of this you will have to do as I say when I say it or I will crush you like a little bug. Do you understand what I mean?

Faerra shifted her feet uncomfortably in the gloom of dusk as she gathered her things and broke camp. Another day's sleep was over, it was time to set out again. Still, she wasn't feeling like herself. It had been a long time since she had felt this lost and out of place...

As a child, she had been a bully. All of the other kids either followed her, or feared her. Even the boys a few years older had followed her lead after she'd shoved one of them so hard he broke an arm.
As a teenager, that was when she had felt this lost before. When she had been sent away from her home, her tribe, and out to the old smith's place for training. He had been a gnarled old orc, and she could have broken him and left any time she wanted, or so she thought. When she tried to kill him and leave that very night, he knocked her out cold with a single blow from his hammer.
She spent the next four years of her life training under him, molding her body into the machine it was today. At first, she was training not to learn his arts, but to kill him and win her freedom, but curse it if she didn't grow to love this old man. He was blunt, and harsh, and always criticizing her, and yet he never let any permanent harm come to her, and he WAS teaching her.
Then, all of a sudden, he had left. Leaving her nothing but a set of tools he had made, a few meager coins, some materials, and a note saying she had to make herself a set of armour, and a weapon, and then go out into the world. Under the note was enough rations for a month.
When she finally finished her armour and greataxe, and packed up the tools and what was left of the rations, she was about to leave. Then she noticed something she hadn't noticed before. A second note, laying just inside the doorway, beside her boots. She picked it up and read it, slowly.
Her grandfather had nothing left to teach her. It was time to set out into the world, and see if she was as sturdy as he hoped she was...

Even now, it brought a small tear to her eye as she looked about. Surely there had to be SOMETHING around here.
