You find yourself soon at the edge of the woods. Ahead of you the hills continue to rise into the mountains known as the western range. Off to your right you can see a valley with the lights of some type of settlement far below. To your left all you see is trees but you know that a few days travel will take you back to hence you came from. North, behind you the permafrost of the cold northern mountains beckon you. But you know that many of your tribe have went there never to return. South you figure is the way to go for now. Into the mountains or maybe down to that village. The choice is a tough one to make.
Faerra looks at her diminishing food supply and sighs. She decides she doesn't want to have to head out into the hills or mountains with only a week's worth of food, and that the village is as good a place as any to find... Something to do.
She heads off to the unknown village, wondering what to expect.
OOC: Yes I know what I said and if you talk to any of the demon lords they will brag that they are the true ruler of the hells.
IC: Lady Natasha smiles and tells you that your sister is doing just fine. You need not worry about her at all. SHe then takes out a book and hands it to you. Study this daily for the next month and I will see you then. She turns her back on you as she walks towards the door.
Rentok - The trip down into the valley takes a few hours. When she first passes by a farm house that has a couple cows and a few chickens her mouth waters.

"Wait, has not the Duke wondered where I have gone," Lionel asked, "Also what do you mean, my 'sister is doing just fine" and that I "need not worry about her at all". Are you saying that you know exactly where she is and how she is doing?"
ooc: What kind of game are you playing? *gives incredulous look* Please don't tell me I"m going to regret having my character have someone he care deeply about and that is still alive. A common thing is for a DM to do is put said NPC into grave danger by which PC's actions are effect and altered.
Also are you saying Lionel will need to spend a month before any progress is made?

Faerra wonders at the intelligence of a farmer that does not guard his animals... his juicy, meaty, helpless animals... Perfect for cooking over a low fire, or chopping up and putting in a stew... She shakes her head to clear away such thoughts. She doesn't have her tribe to aid her now, and if she were to get caught, the whole village would likely be after her... But surely one juicy, tender chicken wouldn't be missed... She shakes her head again, and puts thoughts of banditry out of her mind. For now.
She wonders if she has enough coins for a meal at an inn or tavern, and continues to town.
Lionel sighs in frustration as he starts reading, though his mind does wander to his sister (a lot).
ooc: Yes in and out of character. Have the time go by now if you wish. Also I had added to my last post in the Questions thread right before you posted.
