Faerra grins and puts her axe away, then walks over and picks up the axe as indicated. She looks to Maddie and shrugs. "Just any old tree? I'll be back shortly with some wood."
She heads to the area that looks like Maddie's family uses it to supply them with firewood, picks a tree seemingly at random, and starts chopping.

Lionel, though thinking the instructions in the book very odd, follows what is inside.
Lionel has the strange feeling though that he would look idiotic it anyone was watching him but presses on with the instructions anyway.

Thomaslee - Lionel reads the book and follows the instructions in the book vigorously. While he feels that he looks stupid doing some of the things the book tells him he also feels he may be gaining something from it.
OOC: You will have to wait and find out.
Rentok - As you chop at the tree and collect a bunch of fire wood you can smell the roasting of the chicken and some nice exotic spices that you find you mouth watering too.

Solo Post Play Dragons and Dungeons
As she approaches the farm stead and the small fire that is cooking the chicken she gets her first real good look at Maddie. Yeah she is clearly half elven but her darker skin tones means her parentage is of darker descent.
Maddie looks your way and you can see a violet hue to her eyes as she offers you a seat and begins to pull the cooked meat off the roasting stick.
D&D Play By Post Solo
Faerra is about to ask Maddie more about her parentage, but then remembers that she herself is not so ordinary, and keeps quiet. She smiles and sets the wood down in a pile, placing the axe up against it. She takes a seat by the fire near Maddie, and breathes deeply.
"That smells delicious, Maddie. You must be a wonderful cook."

Faerra shrugs, "I guess so. I mean, I don't really have any plans right now. I'm just kind of wandering." She pauses in thought for a moment before continuing, wondering why Maddie would care if she was heading to town or not. "Why do you ask?"
