Maddie smiles as she rushes up into the loft and throwing open the upper door. SHe says you hold them outside I will pick them off. She kneels to the side of the door and readies her bow. The men look towards the barn and head back into the house.

"Hey Maddie?" Faerra asks, "Do you know who these men are? More importantly, do you know why they seem to have decided they don't want to come after us?"

I have no idea who they are. I thought maybe they were trackers coming behind you. All I know is that they are not very happy right now. Seems one is missing his balls. She flashes you a evil grin. I think they are going to regroup and try to come after us. Maybe they think the darkness will allow them a chance to sneak up on us.

Faerra smiles. "You tore off his balls? Nice one. I honestly hope they try sneaking up on us using the darkness. Ignorant men, don't they know anything?" She leans on her axe and watches the house from afar. "I'm going to enjoy cutting them up."

As you both watch the house you see a group of men dropping out of a back window and moving off to towards the back side of the barn. Maddie does not say anything but loads her bow and fires. The last man in the group stiffens and drops.

Faerra smiles and readies her axe. She moves to stand by the entryway the men seem to plan on using, out of sight in the shadows, but within an easy reach to strike at the first one to come inside.

As you wait by the back side door you hear Maddie's bow fire a couple more times. You think to yourself that if her aim is true then the nine are but six now.

You hear a scrapping sound at the door your waiting at. It sounds like someone is trying to quickly lever off the locked latch.

There is a loud scream of metal and the door flies open followed by men running into the barn with weapons raised. The first one falls back with a arrow in his heart.
