Faerra hefts her axe onto her shoulder and makes a quick walk around the house, checking around the property before she heads over to stand by Maddie.
"You're a good shot with that bow, Maddie. Where'd you learn to shoot?"
Rentok: Maddie looks at Faerra and says I have been hunting meat for the family at night for more than 3 decades. I guess natural skill and practice made me very accurate with the bow.
Rockman18: The girl come back over and says the fish stew will be 4 coppers. She also tells you that their business has been cut due to many of the travelers not making the journey north much since a group of highway men moved in north of the city. SHe feels that some one should go see how many they are and get rid of them. SHe misses all the regulars who came down from Creatoke.
As I eat my stew all I can think of is the fact that those highway men are choking off this town and its people so I decide that I'm going to check them out so I leave her a decent tip and make my way north out of the city. When I am far enough out that no one can see me I will try and find a tree or a rock and bury my gold, noting it's location in my mind.
OOC: As I get going a little bit I will be able to make my posts a little more in character than they have been.

Rental: Maddie looks at Faerra and says she never has had armor before. She would something that still allows her pretty good freedom of movement for her bow. Maybe something simple like leather.
Rockman18: Leaving town to the north you see that the lands slopes upward more toward a distant hill top that has a small grove of trees. As you pass a the half way point up the hill you can see that there are a couple tents set up in the trees and a the lazy smoke of a campfire can be clearly seen. This must be where the highwaymen are camped at.
"If John can get me the materials, I should be able to make you some nice leather armour." Faerra said as she checked her tools over, "I'd feel better knowing there's more protecting you than just your bow, even as skilled as you are with it. I'd hate to think of someone scarring that nice soft skin of yours."
