Forum Based Dungeons DragonsDungeons & Dragons - if you want to participate in a SOLO Dungeons & Dragons Adventure then you must create a separate Character for Solo play and not the same Character you use in group games.

When I find a suitable place to set up camp I will do so and rest for the night, hoping to get off to an early start in the morning. I will not start a fire so as not to attract any unwanted attention.

Faerra makes a quick count of the number of goblins, then she ducks down into the shadows at the side of the road, pulling Maddie with her to hide behind the brush. She silently draws her axe, her face spreading into a grin. She whispers, "Care for some exercise?"

Rockman18: You stop for the night off the side of the road. You set up a cold camp and spend the night with no fire. The night passes quietly and you are soon awakened by the sun shining in your face. Breaking camp you are soon back on your way north.

Rentok: Maddie readies her bow as she nods her agrement. She waits for your signal to jump up and start firing. You counted around 12 goblins.

I will just try and be as alert as possible and keep my weapons closely at hand and ready to be used. I will travel as long as I can each day without pushing my horse too hard and keep making a cold camp to avoid drawing any unwanted attention to myself.

Rockman18: You get up and head north for the day. You a few travelers coming south and they ask you of the highwaymen. When they find out that they are no longer there they are very happy and move a bit faster. The second and third day pass quickly and you have fair weather. The wee hours of the fourth day it starts to rain.

I squint into the rain looking for somewhere to hole up and wait for the rain to pass. With not too much more of the trip to go I see no need to try and push it and risk getting sick or my horse hurt in the process.

Rockman18: The sun has yet to come up and as you look around for a place to hole up you see nothing but the rolling hills of the great plains. As the sun comes up the rain is falling harder. You can not see very far ahead of you.

In that case I will head off the road a ways and try and set my tent up to get out of the rain at least. I will try and dry my gear as best I can while I am waiting out the rain if I can.
