The way the hinges are set up they will not allow the door to go past fully closed. If you where to happen to bend the hinges (All four sets) you may be able to do that but it would take some work from pushing upwards underneath the door.

Questions Post Play Dragons and Dungeons

Okay, next query, in the event Bastion goes down the stairs and uses the Rod's ladder function to push the trapdoor up, could this be achieved within a single round?

Reminder, the rod is allowed to be used to such purpose (The specific example used was breaking down a door), and has a strength mod of +12

Also, I could use a more accurate estimate of how long it took to fly to the fort. Every remaining second of that potion is important, especially since it looks like we may need an improvised exit strategy.

From the place you took off at about 80 feet from the walls and flying up to the top of the tower about 40 feet not that long.

Would've gone another 100' up above the thing in order to try and arrive unnoticed, though that didn't last as long as hoped, so 320' at 40' per round. 8 rounds, plus 4 rounds of combat time elapsed. A little under four minutes of flight time left. Thank goodness.

And the other query, about pushing up on the trapdoor with the rod?

Yes you can push the trap door with the rod but that will jamb it closed as the rod will not be able to extend all the way thus wedging it and the door closed. It will take a bit of time to go back out and get get back to top of tower.

Anklet of translocation I bought in town lets me teleport 10' twice per day. I'll be able to pop back up top easily enough.

In any case, I know I can jam it closed with the rod, I was asking if pushing on it in that manner could rapidly bend the hinges as needed to jam something slightly more expendable than the rod in there from above.

Roll a DC check and roll a d100. If you make the dc check to warp the door there is a very good chance that you will succeed without breaking the door. Anything over 65% on the d100 the door breaks from the pressure.

Dark Druid says...

Potions question again. Since you count as both caster and recipient when drinking one, would the animal companions have received Darkvision through their Share Spells ability?

Nevermind, it only lasts as long as we stay within 5 feet, which neither druid is doing. But for future reference, would it work?
