Hello Daishain,
Thank you for the quick and very comprehensive reply.
I apologize for posting in the wrong thread. I think it will take me a while to get used to navigating here.
Regarding the two games, the one where you can enter as yourself sounds interesting. Obviously I would prefer to try and practice using a druid, but at this point anything helps.
If I play, I will definitely try to get as involved as possibe. I will take some time to think about what would be best at this point.
In regards to getting the practice in, the basic principles, modifiers, and other such things are mostly the same among the full spellcasters, with the primary differences being what kind of spells are available and how they're prepared. So playing a sorcerer, or a cleric would not present too much in the way of a difference.
Just doing some planning. Now that I have my new trick, if I appeared behind someone and shot my bow at point blank range wouldn't that give me two bonuses:
One for being so close and second for the enemy being unaware I'm behind them?
Rob as for a starting character you will need to random roll some things. Normally I would have you roll your stats on here too. If you wish to roll up a gnome that is fine. Starting money, weight, height, eye color and hair color are all random rolled.
Krusten if you get behind so.eone yes you can get some bonus for the hit. Damage would still be normal rolled.
You need to roll for stats in here: Source 3q
The die roller system is located below where you enter text for a post.
4d6 for each stat, 5d4 (*10) for cash, d20 and d12 for eye and hair color
What you need to roll for Height and Weight depends on the race. For Gnome you need to roll 2d4 for the height, and… nothing for the weight.
