You do not need to roll additional dice for any natural 20s for me. I take your damage and double it if that is what it calls for or 3X or 4X as the weapons call for.

You've already made a bad impression with that bad roll. It happens, but trying again is unlikely to help.

You could go talk to the village leader directly, or some of the people living on the outskirts who are most vulnerable.

You will not make any new impressions by rerolling. HE will still look at you as a Amateur. No amount of rerolling is going to change that unless you get more experience under you belt then you can try again.

I found here, that you could detect a scrying spell by an intelligence check. Albrecht has an intelligence of 14, so he qualifies. I don't have dispel magic prepared, but could get it the next day. Do you think he can try to detect the scrying sensor? I am going to make an intelligence check just in case your answer is yet, but if not, feel free to ignore it.

Anyone with a intelligence of 12 or more can always try to detect a scrying spell if they feel it is being used. But in this case no scrying was being used.
